Did Somalia walk?

Someone please help me solve a mystery.

Several news reports, including the one at the link below, contained this paragraph regarding the walkout at Ahmadinejad's UN speech on Thursday.

"The two U.S. diplomats, who specialize in the Middle East, were followed out of the chamber by diplomats from more than 30 countries. They included the 27 European Union members, Australia, New Zealand, Somalia, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino and Macedonia, a U.N. diplomat said. Israel boycotted the speech."

It seems very strange that Somalia, a Muslim country, would walk -- the only one to do so.

I've googled until my eyes glazed over but I can't find any reason why Somalia would join the walkout. One poster on another forum thought it might be a Sunni-Shia problem but if that's the case it's apparently one-way because Iran has been providing a lot of aid to Somalia lately and, in fact, was just about to deliver its 15th shipment.

Could this be a reporter's error and, in fact, Somalia did not walk?

All replies will be appreciated.

You post an interesting treatise on various goings on in the ME and claim twice that Somalia walked. Can you provide a link to something that verifies this?

I also read that Morocco boycotted. Like you, I am having difficulty finding absolute proof of any of these nations walking out except online media. Still, these walk outs are so widely reported in such a variety of media sources I have to believe there is something to it. Unfortunately, I cannot find absolute proof yet though.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been viewing the videos on UTube of delegations leaving as Pres Ahmedinijad spoke.
I cannot find the seats of the Somali delegation in any of the numerous videos but what I found interesting in the following video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fP2_2i7tAhQ (in the final dozen or so seconds) is that Albania's seat also appears to be empty. If true, it means that Somalia was not the only Muslim county to boycott.

As I understand it, Ahmadinejad began his speech by calling for the speedy return of the Twelfth Imam, which is heretical for Sunni Muslims, especially radicals like the Somalis.

It does appear that Albania walked. Thanks for the link.
