ATF Agent Shrugs Off The Death Of American Border Patrol Agent

Colorado -–(Ammoland.com)- One of my favorite quotes from early in our history came from Patrick Henry of Virginia:

“The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them.”

His commentary on government and its’ liberty-crushing power still rings true today.

And the fact that British colonial rulers conducted much of their affairs in secret, behind closed doors, out of the public view, provides an eerie parallel to many government agencies operating inside our country today.

The fact is, it’s the responsibility of gun owners and grassroots activists like you and me to keep a close on eye on our government, particularly on departments like the ATF, which has worked so hard for so long to restrict our Second Amendment rights.

That’s why the latest emerging developments coming out of the ATF’s gun smuggling operation, “Fast & Furious,” are so concerning.

Here is a department within our government whose leaders are appointed by President Obama and report directly to the head of the Justice Department – anti-gun Eric Holder – secretly smuggling weapons to drug cartels, all in an attempt to justify crushing our gun rights.

News broke recently that a gun store owner who was pressured by the ATF to sell weapons to members of drug cartels secretly taped conversations with an ATF agent.

In one of the conversations, the ATF agent shrugs off the death of an American border patrol agent saying that the savage murder was “collateral damage.”

* Every American should be outraged.

* Gun owners should be outraged.

This undercover operation, secretly conducted by our government, has now resulted in the death of at least three American border patrol agents.

And a member of the ATF dismisses these deaths as “collateral damage.”

I hope you will crank up the pressure on Congress to dig further into this secret operation that has resulted in the death of Americans.

It is reported that hundreds of Mexican citizens have been killed with the smuggled guns. Of course, we cannot know which killings are justified, and which are not.

From the way I read the past article, it was the dealer who made the comment about collateral damage, not the agent.

EXCERPT 1

Dealer: Unfortunately a consequence occurred from a weapon shall we say that found its way into the wrong area ok and that was not anticipated. Nobody could foresee that that's collateral damage I think the term is. It happened. It's terrible. That's life ok we move on.

This morsel gives me an appetite for Burke. I seem to have heard once that the liberal /progressive’ thinks they are the elite that an drive the unfree - I dont recall where I heard it and probably twisted it -such is my habit at times. At any rate if true — it would explain the public persona of the 0 for only an un free people—a people already in fetters would vote for someone whose sole strength was a promise to “fundamentally change” America.

Of even more concern is that dozens and maybe hundreds of agents knew of it and no one spoke up until a BP agent was murdered.
