Yeah, I meant to agree with you on that one. What I am saying is that the things that actually do make a difference are things that are considered "heartless".
Which is also, what I think you wrote in your next sentences. It's easier to buy a bumper sticker... etc then to think about ways to reform welfare.
I think young men want to make a difference, but are generally more ok with the status quo. I believe that's what you were asking. If not, I apologize.
