Perry is a Texan and he thinks like Bush and McCain on illegal immigration issues. I doubt he’ll change now and I doubt many would believe him if he did change his stance on those issues.
He makes no sense on immigration.
(Unless his real intent is to continue open borders and amnesty programs.)
LOL - God’s laughing heartily at our political Disneyland .... :)
Sorry, late to the party! Wallace: “Are you a flake?”
I thought they had to have started the process of obtaining their citizenship. Sounds like they're staying one way or the other.
I don't particularly agree with the in-state tuition but I do agree it's a state issue. They obviously consider these kids as residents of their state. They had to have lived there three years AND be in the process of becoming a citizen.
Not like they just jumped out of the back of a pickup.
I’m a Freeper and don’t tase ME bro.
Yeah, I’d imagine President Bachmann would have her attorney general find some legal work arounds for such ignorant crap from SCOTUS.
This is an unFair and unBalanced debate. Shame on FOX. I think all should get roughly equal time. Can someone pose a question about that?
I thought maybe SNL.
“Romney and Perry come off, to me, as typical politicians.”
Going in to tonight's debate I forecast cloudy skies and a possible thunderstorm for Perry....
What we are gettin is a total downpour on all three top runners...this is just sad performances here.
sheeeesh about as unpresidential and informative a debate i have ever witnessed.
The Rio Grande River forms the border between Texas and Mexico. How do you build a fence there? Down the middle of the river? Along the bank of the river on our side, ceding control of the river to Mexico?
Perry is toast.
He is done.
Want to take a bet?
Here we go! RuPaul is about to commit verbal treason!
Perry reminds me so much of W. Following the last debate, CNN took a camera into one of the side-rooms where Perry was talking with his supporters. As he walked back and forth across the stage, talking and gesturing; he looked and sounded so much like W that if I hadn’t been watching it on television, I would have bet dollars-to-donuts that it was W talking!
Yes, that’s why the nominee is still wide open, and unfortunately, the people who were trusted to do right have left us all paying attention
Perry said it wouldn’t work, not just that he didn’t want to fund it. The fence works!
Yes! They should have the public phone or text in votes and drop the bottom two every week, like on all those talent shows on TV.
He's had time to recover from the back surgery. I think that was wearing him down in the earlier debates. He's standing his ground and that really upsets Santorum the sanctimonious asshat who doesn't understand Texas or know how snotty he looks.
It’s too bad Perry cannot say, “look we’re stuck with these bloodsucking lazy illegals because the Feds won’t do their part. The best we can do is make sure their kids don’t turn out to be bums. That’s why I support in-state tuition.”
I dunno. I don’t live in state with illegals running amuck. I’m guessing TX is sick of supporting them, so they’re trying to help the kids make something of themselves. *shrug*
