September 22, 2011. Orlando. For all those fans of liberty, freedom and Americas electoral process, they may want to tune into Fox News tonight and check out the next GOP Presidential debate. Broadcast live from Orlando, Florida, the top 9 Republican candidates for President will be on stage. Thats one more than the 8 that have previously been invited to the other GOP debates, including the last Fox News debate. Thats because the American people have spoken loud and clear, demanding an end to a rigged and dishonest debate system.
With metaphorical chants from a united electorate of, Let him speak, former New Mexico Governor and current Republican Presidential candidate Gary Johnson will finally be allowed to take his rightful spot on stage. More importantly, the libertarian Johnson will be allowed to take his message directly to the American people on national TV.

Another Libertarian. So, Ron Paul has some competition now.
I think it might be time to weed out some of the pretenders here. 8 or 9 candidates on one stage is crazy and doesn’t give enough time for real answers to real questions.
I think it would be prudent to weed out Mr. 9-9-9.
Really?? It should just be Bauchamnn, Romney, Perry, Cain, and Newt (thrown in for the history lessons)
In all honesty even though I do like Cain it is time for him plus Huntsman,Santorum,Paul and Johnson to step aside.
This is why I don’t watch these debates. It’s like watching Obama come out each week with a new stimulous plan.
I wonder if these dog and pony shows are the reason why Sarah has not yet announced.
Why would she want to involve herself in squabbling with losers?
I’m thinking now of that one debate where Perry put his hand on Paul and stuck his finger in Paul’s face. Why? It made Perry look bad and gave Paul some credibility. So why would a front-runner want to even give Paul the time of day?
“I wonder if these dog and pony shows are the reason why Sarah has not yet announced.”
Dog and pony show is right. I haven’t got anything meaningful out of a ‘debate’ in years.
Sure, Sarah may well be thinking this.
Obvious move to split Paul’s polling and make Romney look better.
FoxNews is in the tank for Mitt Romney.
That’s true enough, though if Santorum actually got a spot on stage Johnson deserved one.
But I could certainly see weeding out Santorum and Gingrich.
Then it gets touchy with some of the rest. Paul still places well in a lot of straw poles. Bachman isn’t done yet, but is slipping. Cain is slipping as well, but is unlikely to be given the boot any time soon for PC reasons if nothing else.
Then you have Huntsman, who’s the moderate/establishment candidate who, while he seems to have no traction in the GOP, seems to be the boat anchor the press would favor us choosing. They could easily pitch him for no loss.
Anyway it’s early yet, let them all stay in duking it out for a while. AT some point it will be pared down.
here, here now... plenty of time to kick the lower tier to the curb...it would be prudent though for those lower tier candidates to start thinking about who they will get behind. The next administration should be able to put all other nominees to some good use.
Regardless of his politics, he’s the most capable administrator of the bunch.
Then why isn't he seeking the Libertarian's nomination?
While I personally think Paul is a wingnut, he’s too popular to be excluded at this point. Realistically he has no chance whatsoever, but he does have a somewhat sizable and devoted following.
Johnson and Huntsman are, frankly, pathetic. At least Paul is a bit entertaining, albeit in a pathetic sort of way.
Contrary to the image of hoards of “fans [FANS?!?] of liberty, freedom and America’s electoral process” painted by this silly article, I frankly haven’t heard a single person speak “loud and clear,” or in any other manner, and certainly have not heard “chanting,” demanding that these losers waste time in the debate.
If the Libertarian whack jobs and their groupies, all masquerading as “Republicans” and “conservatives,” want to hear the startlingly important messages of these august figures, and bask in the intense auras of their sublime presences, have them run in the Libertarian Party and enter debates together hosted by MTV for that party. That’d be, like, far out, man.
Bachmann is toast due to her own mouth, and Newt hasn’t a prayer in hell for various well-known reasons. Neither one brings any unique idea to the table. If we’re cutting, they should be the ones cut.
But they won’t let Thad McCotter in?
Gary - Don’t Bogart that joint!
without a doubt....they reek of Mittens...despicable....I wonder if the word comes down from Rupert or from Roger Ailes
many ‘small L’ libertarians despise what the Libertarian party line stands for....
