As bad news piles up for the Democrats, I asked a top Democratic strategist if it were possible that President Obama might “pull a Lyndon Johnson” and soberly face the cameras, telling America that he has decided that the demands of partisan politics are interfering with his efforts to right our economy and that he has decided to withdraw to devote full time to our recovery. His answer: “Yes. It’s possible. If things continue as they are and have not turned around by January, it is certainly possible.”
Just looking at Michelle Obama’s unsmiling face during her husband’s recent speech to Congress triggered an insight: These folks aren’t having fun anymore.
Obama, whose insistence on passing a healthcare law that the courts will probably throw out cost his party the House, will now cost his party the Senate too. Indeed, it is even possible that the Republicans win 60 seats.
Currently, there are strong Republican candidates in 12 seats now held by Democrats. All could win in a 10- to 15-point landslide (which is shaping up). They include: Virginia (George Allen), Florida (Adam Hasner), New Mexico (probably Rep. Steve Pearce), Montana (Rep. Denny Rehberg), North Dakota (Rep. Rick Berg), Nebraska (Jon Bruning), Missouri (Sarah Steelman would be the best), Michigan (Pete Hoekstra), Ohio (Josh Mandel would be best), Wisconsin (Tommy Thompson or one of the others), Pennsylvania (Tim Burns would be great) and Connecticut (Chris Shays — better than Linda McMahon).
If all win, the GOP is only one vote shy of the filibuster-proof 60-member majority in the Senate. The final seats could come if strong challenges shape up in West Virginia, New Jersey, Washington state, Minnesota and Maryland. And, with Obama this far behind, they probably will.

Dick, your advocacy that Romney would cause Obama to drop out would leave Democrats with Hillary as a far stronger candidate leading a resurgence against Romney, who would forfeit enthusiasm and Tea Party support. How is that a win for Conservatives? I am amazed that you have not recognized the momentum Perry is gathering with Stark Truths in his “President Zero” ad, Social Security Ponzi scheme, Defense of Israel, etc. No other candidate comes close to crystallizing what conservatives and now most of America are desperate to address.
From Rev. Wright’s perspective on “Ridin’ Dirty” with America, Zero’s withdrawal would give everlasting meaning to Pulling Out, when he’s on top of his game and enjoying the ride.

Clinton don’t have to do anything except wait for the democrat establishment to force Obama to give the LBJ speech. And it will happen. Then she is free to (with a heavy heart and much reservation) resign as Sec of State (and take on the heavy burden in her country’s great time of need) to run for President. She would be unopposed. This is why Slick Willy is in the news every day embracing the far left , to protect Hillary’s left flank as she runs to the right.
I think that is what got Bill Clinton in trouble

Agree 110%. Super majorities came up in the constitutional convention and it was decided that, on the whole, they were a bad thing. It was saved for the Senate and in only a few rare cases.

Barry bassturd is a very mentally ill person. He will not stick around to be embarrassed by crushing defeat. If he cannot stop the Republic from casting their rejection, he will run away like an embarrassed child rather than man up and be rejected. Democrats are all about lying to create a scenario which empowers them. The media is the enemy of We The Peopl and will broadcast whatever lies they are sent from the axelfraud cesspool, as we have seen for lo these many months. The only chance the democrap party has of holding any power is to make a last minute switch to herd their braindead constituencies to the polls in a sham vote. If Barry is the candidate, the democrap turnout will be a disaster of epic proportions. And that must not be allowed by the criminal enterprise democrat party.

If the zero pulls out, it will be with the plan in mind that he will run for his second term after the Republicans improve the economy.

but I don’t think we really KNOW who the sperm donor was, nor if BHO senior was even in her life yet at the time of the Messiah’s birth, nor if SAD was really the biological mother, or if she was perhaps just his nanny who stepped in to become his mom after the biological mom died in 1970.
Why are so many photos of BHO with his ‘mom’ in his early years so obviously photo-shopped?
There is just too much shrouded in secrecy with all of his court-sealed records. The requirements of the office of POTUS supersede the demands of secrecy surrounding adoptions.
Adoption should not cover up for the proof of natural-born-citizenship on the day of his birth.
