Sorry Barney! Meanwhile another US Rep from MA John Tierney (D-Salem) had his wife convicted to laundering money from an online sports betting operation run by her family. She got a slap on the wrist. He claimed to know nothing about it. He was re-elected.

Looks like Barney was dealt a bad hand.
Too bad he didn’t play straight.

Ted Kennedy sat on a riverbank waiting for a nice young woman to die so he could continue his career. He got re-elected.
Massivetwoshits, American home-base for socialism and “progressives.”

If "lawn signs could vote", Bill Hudak would have beaten Tierney (I voted Hudak) but Tierney pulled it out, despite the last minute news about Patrice Tierney (who got one month home confinement). I saw tons of Hudak signs out but they got out the vote. Hacks.
From Herald on 9/11/11:
>>The convicted wife of U.S. Rep. John F. Tierney (D-Salem) may be called to testify against her brother when he goes on trial next month for the winning hand the federal government says Daniel Eremian played in a lucrative Internet betting site.
>> Robert Eremian, a second brother similarly charged with racketeering, money laundering and illegal gambling, is a fugitive from justice.

So startling and so true.
Imagine Ted Kennedy as president, probably for eight years; starting in 1980.

I prefer picturing him in his new “district” where he is known as Ted Kennedy (D-HELL).

Frank (D-Newton) has been one of the most vocal congressional supporters of legalizing online gaming and has received tens of thousands of campaign contributions from online poker players, owners and lobbyists.
Now, is this cronyism or should we dismiss it because frank has regularly supported legalized online gambling?

This is not satire? Who knew Barney was involved with online poker? What a crook!

I hate to say it but Barney has been the only one on my side. I think it is absurd that in the land of the free and the home of the brave we have to watch while people in Bulgaria play Poker on line. I wrote to my RINO Congressman about this and didn't even get a reply. Eat s*** and die, Rodney.

Of course Bawney didn’t know anything about this, just like he didn’t know anything about the teenage homosexual prostitution ring run out of his own house by his homosexual roommate.
We believe you, Bawney. /sarc

Gural said Franks office is waiting to see if the Justice Department will set up a fund to compensate victims, and if it does, the money will go there. "My constituents have the attention span of a rutabaga. We'll wait a few days for this to blow over, and I'll keep the money."

Absolutely!! I've been playing on-line since 2003, and never had a problem. When Poker Stars was shut down, I got all my money refunded within a month. Half of that time was Poker Stars waiting to get the OK from the DOJ to pay us.
You can still play on-line for money, there are a few sites that still let Americans play.
