No bad news yet this week. The market is volatile, but flat at the close. And while everyone expects a disaster in the Middle East it hasn't happened yet. Greece and Italy got a downgrade, but nobody has seen what impact that will have on the market. Obama is losing to the generic Republican, but beats all the declared candidates. There are a lot of rumors of bad news out there for Obama, but nothing has broken yet.
Obama is like the guy driving a car off a cliff at the end of a TV program. You know it won't end well, but you will have to tune in next week to see the crash.

Watching the SA closely. It is still on the downslope, back to the floor of 19. Currently at 21, but it had gone up to 24 last week.

Overall,
the deranged 46% of voters say they
can mentally invent enough reasons to at least somewhat approve of the president's
horrifyingly abysmal job performance. Fifty-two percent (52%)
maintained enough cranial cognizance to at least somewhat disapprove.
There, Mr. Rasmussen. Fixed it for you.

The Reality is that Obama has apparently has a lock on the black vote. No matter WHAT he does, the overwhelming number of black Americans will vote for him, even as their employment rate plummets. (15% of the population?)
Despite his shabby treatment of Israel, Obama can rely on a large precentage of Jewish Voters, to whom liberal political orthodoxy is more important than the survivial of Israeli Jews and the only reliable ally the U.S. has left in the Middle East. (Unceratin percent)
And finally, Obama can rely on a significant number of Hispanic voters who view him as an ally, regardless of how miserable the economy becomes. (Large and growing)
That leaves us with figures like today’s as probably the best we can hope for going into 2012.
Its unfortunate that race politics still remains such a significant driver of opinion in the ballot booth today.

A few interesting internals.
* A solid plurality (48%) of Americans, in fact, think labor unions have outlasted their usefulness, although theres a sharp difference of opinion between Republicans and Democrats on the question.
This bodes very well for the GOP. When almost half the nations thing breaking up the big public employee unions is a good idea, going toe to toe with them can't hurt you at the polls. Remember the 48/% are only those who say they are useless, there is another percentage that don't care. Those that support the unions vote Democrat in any case so it doesn't matter so long as 51% don't.
* A plurality (41%) of adults nationwide thinks Americas allies put the United States more at risk. Thirty-six percent (36%) disagree and say those alliances make America stronger. Another nine percent (9%) say they have no impact, while 14% arent sure.
Watch for a push for isolationist foreign policy. Europe is falling off a cliff. Israel is about to get into a four sided shooting war. America's defense budget getting slashed. Mexico is now a failed state. It will be real tempting to fort up, build a wall, and let the world go to heck.

Thanks.
Did you see where Rasmussen is going to expand his content-for-pay on his website? Wonder which levels will be included?

The Reality is that Obama has apparently has a lock on the black vote. No matter WHAT he does, the overwhelming number of black Americans will vote for him, even as their employment rate plummets. (15% of the population?) In the 2008 elections, which saw a huge black turnout. about 131 million people voted including about 16 million blacks or 12.2% of the vote. I doubt Obama can pull these numbers again.
To: Prokopton
I hope you are right. But he will try VERY hard. And he’s raising the money from those despicable rich liberals to do it.
