Welcome to Palin4America. This site was originally planned to go live upon Governor Palin’s announcement. Due to details of the launch of this site being leaked, we decided to bring the launch day forward and go live now.
We were still in the final stages of setting up this site when we went live, so you may come across some glitches, some empty categories and various items out of place. All of this will fall into place shortly.
As we will explain in our official introductory post, this site, while hoping to attract supporters of Governor Palin, is mostly targeted at potential supporters and people on the fence. Therefore some of the posts we will be put up may not be original content and may have already been published by our contributors on other websites in the past . We will republish them here for the interest of people who have not had the chance to read them.

You know.... that announcement that she was going to make on Memorial Day...
and then on the 4th of July...
and then by September...
and then by Constitution Day...
and then most certainly, by the end of September...
Why do you call her governor, when she’s no longer governing.
I’ve never seen the term ever applied to an ex-governor before, so I question the accuracy of the term.
We don’t call Jimmy Carter, George Bush I and II or Clinton president. It’s always former president, so I assume the correct usage would actually be former governor Palin.

Palin nor her staff ever said any of thise first 4 dates - her supporters were speculating based on those key dates in the past history

Yes, actually all of those former officeholders keep their highest formal titles according to convention. For example, in the NYTimes the usual treatment is to refer to them by that title at first mention, then Mr. or Ms. (or Mrs. or Miss if specifically requested) later in the story. That is the same way they handle the titles of current officeholders.
Personally, I don’t like it. I’d like to keep honorary titles to an absolute minimum in our republic, but Romney would likewise be referred to Gov. Romney. That’s the way we do it.
