BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Former Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards, a longtime Democrat, says he tells state Democratic leaders that the party needs to move to the center and persuade people that it doesn't advocate socialized government.

Listen to the crook. It’s important.
But they do advocate socialized government, and they have "persuaded" people by their repeated actions that they advocate socialized government. That is what they are . . . and they have been trying for a long time by deception to "persuade" that they aren't socialists. the people are wising up and no longer believe them. They have been lied to too many times.
Their only play is to claim the right is "too left" or "too right", regardless what reality shows.
Like I care what some crook politician thinks.
Back to 1989....
Cor-rect.
Edwards is like the living personification of the democratic party.
Perhaps the dems should nominate more crooks to higher office...
Oh, wait... the democrat party IS a criminal organization.
