In what appears to be an attempt to minimize inflammatory statements by Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, a former American president claimed the PA's upcoming statehood bid at the United Nations is simply an “act of frustration.”
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton added in the interview aired Sunday on NBC's “Meet the Press” that he believes “the Palestinians understand that they have to negotiate borders and security with the Israelis.”
He added, however, that at the United Nations Security Council, the U.S. will do what it must to block the bid, and if necessary will exercise its veto power.
The next step, he said, will be to contain whatever damage is created by the PA drive for statehood as it appeals to the General Assembly. “We're either going to go forward or fall back,” he said. “I favor going forward.”

The islamo-left obviously doesn’t yet have the power to pull this off. Israel made it clear they were ready for the obvious war that would result.

These two deep-thinking ex-presidents and their respective elections show the foresight of the likewise intelligent American electorate.
History will go into ecstatic orgasms as it explains the ascension and the performance of these two examples of American exceptionalism.
Of course we could go on and on as we reach back for that stalwart stallion of a man: Lyndon BIRD Johnson whose daydreams whilst sitting on his Kohler produced the Great Society. This giant, who saw and remedied JFK standing in his way of a gigantic contribution to America, took action and had that obstacle removed.
Yes, we could go on and on about the greatness of past presidents and when the current squatter of the White Hut finally has to leave with most of his work accomplished that will add another book to the collection of past great presidents of America!
Why do we constantly hear from former democrat presidents about how the US should conduct foreign policy ?

But for the appellations of the ancient Romans, there is no so-called “palestine”, nor are there any “palestinians” other than various conglomerations of predominantly islamist arabs who should rather be killed in the warfare they seek, but that Israel has decided, for whatever God forsaken reason, to put up with the utter nonsense that are these stupid, stone age...people.

This ought to be fun to watch; they declare an independent state, backed by the UN and continue to lob rockets and shoot, stab or otherwise try to, and kill Israeli citizens.... Israel declares war and destroys the new nation state’s capacity to wage war, and again as the non-aggressor is entitle to occupy the lands it takes, which is the rule land warefare.

One of the few things I've ever agreed with Bill Clinton on. I don't think Pennsylvania should be allowed in the Union myself.
