Some of Ron Paul's most avid (some say "rabid") supporters are not friends of America. The Marxist group "Code Pink" are frequent and vociferous supporters of the good congressman, as are "Iraq Veterans against the War," a Soros-funded group that is sometimes violently opposed to any American intervention overseas, no matter how justified it may be.
Code Pink, headed up by Medea Benjamin, shows up at any anti-American gathering that happens to have media (no pun intended) coverage scheduled. That organization is frequently joined by IVAW in its pursuit of America-bashing.
Now, Rep. Paul cannot be held totally responsible for who attends his rallies and who organizes his Iowa Straw Poll effort, but the public should not be kept in the dark about who it is that has become so close to the congressman.

An unsavory alliances ping.
That ad in the Austin Chronicle shows how low he's falling...this rag is straight progressive/Marxist, and asks about Perry's sex life on a full page? Without a word of rebuke from this scrawny would-be Woodrow Wilson?
It also makes me deeply suspicious of his son.
I think other elements of the left are afraid of Paul because he’s diverging from their marxism.
Communist terrorist, Weather Underground leader, wife of Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, with the co-founder of the, er hum, "peace" group Code Pink (Medea Benjamin).

If he's working with Code Pink, IVAW, Adam Kokesh and ANSWER, he hasn't diverged very far.
Paul hasn’t morphed (you must be confusing him with Rick “I love hate crimes laws” Perry) into anything. He’s taken the same foreign policy positions for decades. He is hated by both left and right because he challenges both the welfare and warfare states. Hence, hatred of Ron Paul is the one thing Fox and MSNBC have in common.
No doubt Ron Paul has some strange ideas and some strange followers.
HOWEVER...
ON THE ISSUE OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE HE IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!
I think conservatives are afraid of Paul because he’s anti-war, and so they look for ways to link him to marxism.
Working for Code Pink? They are all for Obama’s Wars.
Draw your own conclusions? There's no question about it. Every one of the large "anti-war" coalitions was founded and organized by either Workers World Party (ANSWER, Troops Out Now), Communist Party USA (United for Peace and Justice, Peace Action) or the Revolutionary Communist Party (World Can't Wait, Not In Our Name, Refuse and Resist).

The RCP calls for the violent overthrow of the U.S. government...
From the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party (revcom.us or rwor.org) :
"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power: We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning.
And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle.":
Quakers?
BTTT
For a “non-politician” , he’s been in DC for decades.
He decries earmarks, and yet puts them into bills(and crows about voting against them later)
He claims being pro defense, yet does not disavow Code Pink and other anti-American groups.
His supporters do obnoxious BS that he doesn’t tell them to knock it off
And we’re supposed to pick him as our candidate?
Bingo.
Hogwash! Those groups generally make an “exception” for Obama’s wars, hence they are not really antiwar in real sens. Antiwar.com, the best read antiwar site today was founded by libertarians. Prior to Vietnam, libertarians (and conservatives) played a key role in antiwar movements ranging from the Anti-Imperialist League of 1899 to the American First Committee.
