never look at a single poll, go to Real Clear Politics and see the average of all the polls, and look at the trends to see where he really stands at any given moment.

When you do that you will quickly see that Obama has been stuck in the low 40’s for about a month, averaging all the polls weeds out the outliers on both ends.

Comeback? If this is a comeback, I sure wouldn't want one.

Did you miss the election results this week? Those polls were pretty definitive.

I have never understood Rasmussen.

I would expect Obumbo to be in a linear free fall,
but Rasmussen has him bumping up and down....Up today.

Don’t trust Ras polls. He jacks them around so bad this far before an election.

The last time Rasmussen showed Obama with a positive number in the Daily Tracking Poll was 6/29/09.

Yesterday it was -17.

Rasmussen’s results jump up and down every couple of days. That’s because he’s presenting his results in the most honest fashion possible. Big comeback for Obama? Hardly.

Rasmussen's polling methodology is unique in that it offers respondents a choice of “somewhat approve” or “somewhat disapprove”. This would tend to inflate the minority opinion because it lets liberals and Democrats qualify their response of approval.

Rasmussen acknowledges this here:

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/political_commentary/commentary_by_scott_rasmussen/comparing_approval_ratings_from_different_polling_firms

When you look at a Rasmussen poll, the only numbers that matter are the percentages responding with “Strongly Approve” and “Strongly Disapprove.” That's the Presidential Approval Index, where Obama continues to be deep underwater.

Rasmussen must be counting comebacks from all Obozo’s vacations. Rasmussen is a certified dork.
