I might believe it if he had an 85 IQ.
But if he was intellectually avg, & 12 yrs old when his father supposedly took him to live in the woods, he’d certainly know his full name and where they used to live.

I like the Kasper Hauser reference. It seems unlikely that they would of remained unseem or of not had to trade for supplies. Even Ishi the Yahi Indian was not invisible, and he and his family were spotted once and their camps found.

Yes, that’s possible ... but if he’s 17 and intellectually average, he’s perfectly capable of making the whole thing up, with some evidence that will seem reasonable to start with.

If true this probably constitutes homeschooling. The lad’s papa will be going to jail and the teen will be doing some counseling to get those independent thoughts out of his head.
