First there was Fast and Furious, then there was Solyndra and now there is LightSquared -- three high-level scandals that involve allegations of cover-ups inside the Obama administration.
..... (snip) The latest one involves confidential testimony from Gen. William Shelton, head of the Air Forces Space Command, whom congressional sources say told a House Armed Services subcommittee that he was pressured to change his prepared remarks in a way that would benefit a major Democratic donor ..... (snip) Philip Falcone is one of the big backers of LightSquared, a telecommunications company that wants to develop a nationwide satellite phone network. Falcone is a billionaire hedge-fund manager who is known as the Midas of misery for his skills at exploiting economic failure. He is also a big political campaign contributor, usually to Democrats.
His LightSquared venture requires federal authorization because of concerns that it would interfere with the satellite-driven GPS system that guides the U.S. military. Shelton reportedly said he was pressured to change his conclusion that the LightSquared plan was too risky. If the plan is nixed, Falcone and his partners stand to lose big.

no, just administer 3 lashes to your back.
All these scandals and not one call from anybody for a special prosecutor.
If this had happened during a Republican admin the Left would be screaming to the rafters for one.............
Should it surprise me that a Democrat is known as the “Midas of Misery?”
Yes, I think you should. Then bow down three times to the King and present your sword to his defense. All will be forgiven..........if you donate your wealth to his re-election.
Of course it is more important that a Democratic donor gets his “waiver” than the possibility that his technology might cause interference to satellite GPS that guides the military. I mean... who cares about that silly stuff anyway? /s
If it’s reported on Fox, the left has done a superior job of convincing moderates and liberals that Fox is the political equivalent of Weekly World News.
Has to hit Pravda before the voters will notice.
Scandals Criminal Activities Undercut Obama Re-Election Message
There...fixed it.
(NOTE: To report me to the WH...please click here: "Attack-A-Wackey")
I’m sure MSNBC and the NYT are on top of these stories...They are probably haveing staff meetings right now discussing how to stonewall them...
for your consideration
Picky, picky.
Pravda is nice short hand. MSM doesn’t quite hit the mark, and State Controlled Media is too long.
I’ll stick with calling them Pravda. Everyone knows the connotation, and only the persnickety few would bother to comment.
Solyndra had a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for Sept ‘09.
The emails suggest the federal loan was not approved until right before then.
Why, or how, would a company with no revenue history plan on building a monstrous factory without assurance of getting funding to pay the contractors?
...and say 10 Hail Obamas.
I would like nothing more than seeing the “present” admin get put throught the ringer and some doing the perp walk. But- Philip Falcone brings just that. Misery to everything he touches. I pray he goes down/loses billions. I have a personal interest in watching this.
I guess I’ll have report myself for reading the article.
