Obama repeats “pass this bill” ad nauseum at NC State speech (Groundhog Day 3)

Next to flogging AttackWatch.com on Twitter, perhaps the most popular parlor game in America over the past few days has been cobbling together condensed versions of Obama’s speeches that mock him for his incessant use of the “Pass the Bill” mantra.

So here’s my little contribution, taken from Obama’s speech yesterday at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.

Enjoy!

I’m beginning to envision a Jack Nicholsen
type movie called Here’s Brrrrrrrack!

Sometimes it’s a person in a straight jacket yelling “love me, please, please love me.”

In Southpark they call a crap “Mr. Hankey”, and apparently, they call it “Bill” at the white house.

“Pass this bill!”

“Yes, we can!”

Hmmmmmmmmm. With campaign season in full swing, I wonder if it is coincidence that those two things sound so much alike?

With mounting opposition to the “jobs bill” (tax increase), no wonder zero is starting to sound a bit desperate. He knows he is facing a major defeat next year.

(If only we could make it sooner!)

Text of S.1549 - American Jobs Act of 2011 [Sept 13, 2011]

The catchall link to S.1529 doesn't have a link to the text, yet, but has a bit of other interesting information.

Shhhhh...keep it down! It's a number of syllables thing.
Any more than three syllables and the crowds can't remember the slogan.
