The idea seems to have caught on, and the date is 30 hours away. While would-be participants still seem to have no idea what they will in fact be demanding, they are dead set on having that demand met.

For one thing, it is the weekend that it will take place. Wall St. is closed tight for the weekend. Another thing is that this is not Cario. Will not past muster here.

I was thinking that too. Who are they going to be raging against? Seems like you would want to do that during market hours? Maybe I am missing something.
The 17th is a Saturday.

I’d bet half of them are fresh off of the BurningMan festival.
A protest against Capitalism, not the Fascism that’s rooted in DC.
Looks like their hope is to stay there a while, perhaps to use the weekend to set up and entrench when the area is vacant, then be settled in and riled up when Monday morning arrives. They’re hoping for a long haul - as in months - event.

Like Barry’s money buddies give a poop. This is simply a stinkfoot gathering for little demi-communists to pretend that they or the White Hut give a damn about anything other than the accumulation of power. It is only through government subsidy that these turds have time to act like euro-trash instead of working for a living. The only people stupid enough to be impressed will be the media and school teachers.
Crimson Permanent Assurance needs to be ready.
The buildings will be closed, the eateries and retail establishments will probably decide it prudent to be closed and gates rolled down for the duration. A bunch of people with no bathroom facilities will make quite a mess.
