History will never be able to tell us who made the fatal error in New Yorks 9th district Barack Obama, or Anthony Weiner.
Just as Weiner kept on making critical errors every step of the way as his personal scandal unfolded earlier this year, President Obama has done everything in NY-09 to show that he is no friend of Israel and has no clue how to create jobs or learn from his many mistakes.
I predict a tectonic shift among American Jews and within the Democratic Party if Obama doesnt quietly retire. All the spinning in the world cant spin away the trend of Scott Brown, the Tea Party victory of November 2010, and now the Turner earthquake.
Many Democrats are awakening to the reality that their party has been hijacked by a radicalism completely unfamiliar to their parents and grandparents Democratic Party.
An internal, partisan civil war is now brewing in that party. What I think tonight is less important than what Joe Lieberman, Bill Clinton, Evan Bayh, and the rest of the former, and now defunct, reasonable wing of the Democratic Party is thinking tonight.
Like I said in an earlier post ... the GOP may take the Senate before the 2012 elections due to Democratic party defections.
I don’t think its “Civil War” as much as its finger pointing. Most of what’s Left in the Democratic party isn’t remotely moderate. In fact, to many, Obama is probably too moderate for them.
Bill Clinton reasonable? Don't think so.
Do we have any sense of Blue dog Democrats possibly changing their party affiliation.
Andrew, I hope you’re right. But if Krintong is considered “reasonable”, then the RATS are in real FN trouble!
Too bad we can’t enforce truth in advertising rules with the Democrats. It was taken over by the socialist and communist parties long ago.
Now, the RHINO arm of the Republican party.... that is an attempt at the more moderate lefties to take over the Republican party. I am sick of them.
And be reported to www.attackwatch.com? You've got to be kidding.
There has already been a battle for the reins of the DNC and the far left has won that battle. Andrew seems to suggest the less left are going to battle to take back their party from the more left.
There are a lot of congenital Democrats who are more conservative than most Freepers, but they've never voted for a Republican in their lives. That's about to change. Once those people realize they are more at home as Republicans, it will not be easy for Democrats to win them back.
In their leadership, yes, but in their rank and file, not in many areas of the country besides the northeast and the west coast. They recruited moderates in 2006 to take over Congress and again in 3008 to expand their majorities.
It’s President Obama’s courageous leadership that kept the election close. People want to vote for Obama’s party, but couldn’t stomach Weiner.
Hope and Change.
They got it and didnt like it........
Someone else pointed out as well, that the bougoueise limo types in NY-09 are pro’bly starting to feel the pinch a little also and the uncertainty...
The short-limo rich don’t like to spend time worrying about their money, they like to be enjoying it. Especially those of the Jewish faith. They are tight-knit family folks that like to make sure nephew Weimar, Jr. goes to a good school, Old Awnt Marg has a good apartment, oy vey.
We have a Communist administration.
They are all a bunch of racists.
Little tricky with Weiner because of his wife...who I bet was given (permanent) leave by Hillary. Still don’t think the weiner marriage will last.
We used the technique successfully to break the back of the Democrat grip on the Solid South.
We only need about 13 Democrat Senators to "come over" for voting if not for caucusing to defeat the Obama Regime.
There was at least one poll, maybe more, that said Weiner should keep his seat!
That some of these consider themselves Blue Dogs is laughable. I don't think any of them will switch. In 2010, a couple switched to run as Republicans and got primaried. Lesson learned.
