Republican Party leaders, who only a few weeks ago viewed the GOP presidential nomination race as wide open, now consider it a two-man contest between Rick Perry and Mitt Romney, and they are choosing sides in what many think could be a long and potentially divisive campaign.

After Iowa and New Hampshire, Romney will be history.
You heard it here first.

They both may find themselves fighting in the dust

Gotta love the MSM salivating over the prospect of a long battle that might generate ammunition that they will then use against the winner when it comes to the general election against Obama.
It’s positively creepy how much groundwork is being laid NOW for their surely Orwellian treatment of the 2012 election. Exhibit A is the demonization of the Tea Party - they are trying to drill into gullible people’s heads that the Tea Party somehow represents a crazy, extremist and dangerous idea. They aren’t going to let the fact that the Founding Fathers set up a limited federal government get in the way of the narrative.

I will not vote for Romney under any circumstance. I am one of millions. Yes millions.
Run that sleazeball at your own risk.
That is all.

I call bs. Mitt is a Massachuttes yankee and all that entails. If he is good enough for Mass, he is bad, real bad.
Perry is a Texan. A great Texan. Bad mouthing is getting old

On the issues, you’re probably right. I’d vote for either one of them. And so far, Romney has done better in the debates than Perry.
