The Emergency Committee for Israel has been ramping up its criticism of the Obama administration, launching ad campaigns in the run-up to todays NY-9 election and the Palestinian unilateral statehood declaration at the UN.
The groups latest billboard ads, which went up today, feature a giant photo of President Obama and Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas sharing a jovial handshake in front of a Palestinian flag. Attacking Israel at the United Nations: Not Pro-Israel, blares one of the billboards.
Calling for a divided Jerusalem: Not Pro-Israel, reads another.
The billboards have popped up at locations across the city, including 11th Avenue & 38th Street (Lincoln Tunnel entrance), Centre Street & Grand Street... in SoHo, 11th Avenue & 38th Street at the Javits Center, the entrance to Queensboro Bridge, and the Long Island Expressway entrance to the Midtown tunnel. They direct New Yorkers to ECIs new website, www.NotProIsrael.com.
Obamas growing problem with Jewish voters has been in the forefront of the news with the NY-9 race. With the looming possibility of a unilateral Palestinian declaration at the UN, the Obama administration will likely be under even more scrutiny with Jewish and pro-Israel voters.
Ouch, Ya know that’s gotta hurt.

I love how Prince Barry is more engaged with the camera than he is with Abbas, how Abbas is just another prop that can be used to show the world the wonder that is Prince Barry.
He still has over a year to work with his Islamic allies. I fear he will help them start a war with Israel by mid 2012. He likely would want the war for two reasons -- to destroy Israel and to scare the American people into not changing leadership in times of War. He will fail on both counts.

The Over/Under for the dismantling of that billboard is hereby set at 6 days.
If they tried to post those billboards in Albany, NY, they would never would have seen the light of day.
I would bet the value/price of the billboard space in New York City is escalating to record levels even as we speak.
