Obama promoted his jobs bill in North Carolina on Wednesday, the third stop on what White House Press Secretary Jay Carney called a "campaign" for jobs.
Not for the first time, Obama called back to an audience member's shouted, "I love you" with "I love you back."
On Wednesday he added, "But if you love me you've got to help me pass this bill."
The Obama administration isn't holding back in its full court campaign to pass the American Jobs Act. The WhiteHouse.gov website now includes a banner that links to the bill. Obama's speech at the North Carolina State University in Raleigh is his third stop following similar speeches in Virginia and Ohio.
Obama used a copy of the America's Jobs Act as a prop, as he's done before, holding it up as he assigned "homework" to a crowd composed largely of college students, urging them to contact Congress and push them to pass his bill.
"Yes, we can," he said, a return to his 2008 campaign slogan that brought loud cheers from the audience. Obama added, "We can pass this thing but we need Congress to do it."
Obama blasted Republicans in Congress, -- adding "not all Republicans; there are some who get it" -- for resisting supporting the bill because they are afraid of handing a "win" to Obama.
"Give me a win? Give me a break," Obama said.
"I get fed up with that kind of game playing and we've been seeing it for too long," he said. "We've been grappling with a crisis for three years, instead of getting people to rise up against bipartisanship in the spirit of working together, we've got people who are purposely dividing."
Re-run line the from the '08 campaign.
Didn’t Barbara Streisand record that on her last album?
He’s starting (?) to sound a bit blasphemous.
Bill, I love you so, I always will
I look at you and see the passion eyes of May
Oh, but am I ever gonna see my wedding day
I was on your side Bill when you were loosin’
I never scheme or lie Bill, there’s been no foolin’
But kisses and love won’t carry me till you marry me Bill
I love you so, I always will
And in your voice I hear a choir of carousels
Oh, but am I ever gonna hear my wedding bells
I was the one who came runnin’ when you were lonely
I haven’t lived one day not lovin’ you only
But kisses and love won’t carry me til you marry me Bill
I love you so, I always will
And though devotion rules my heart I take no bows
But Bill you’re never gonna take those wedding vows
Oh, come on Bill
Oh, come on Bill
Come on and marry me Bill
I got the wedding bell blues
Please marry me Bill
I got the wedding bell blues
Marry me Bill

They're not even educated. Most of these infants have been steeping in global warming/political correctness/revisionist history propaganda since kindergarten. I'll bet if you asked 10 of them to name just one fact about Thomas Jefferson, at least 8 of them would say he had a child with one of his black slaves. Of the other two, at least one would have been home schooled.

Whining, begging, and playing the victim, is not Presidential. It is childish and stupid. Whiny little bitch. And when he is not whining, he is throwing a temper tantrum. I do not think that mentally this guy ever got past somewhere around about 12 years old.
It is us against *them*. The bad guys are out to hurt me...*sniff*
Having said that, I have no doubt that this Love You crap was as staged as all the fainting was. I do not think the same old schtick is going to work this time. JMHO
Anyone gullible enough to sit still for this kind of self-deluded, rah rah BS is really too stupid for words.
I believe NC State is a “traditionally Black” college. Explains the “love.” Blacks will stick by him, no matter how much his policies hurt them. Race trumps reason.
Is this a transcript typo, or did he really say this gaffe/Fruedian slip?!?!
Narcissism in action.
bipartisinship slip...we all know he is a bona fide pathetic loser of a dumbshit...
as for the...
“IF YOU LOVE ME...” line..isn’t that what most naive girls hear before they get screwed?
Doing-a-Job-on-America Bill
Um. No words.
All it needs to be known is well... known. Somewhere in parallel universe, there’s got to be a joker, seriously.
I cant fathom one thing though, are we living in fantasy land, or is something rotten in grave yard of politicians with some IQ capability.

NC State is not a “traditionally Black” college.
Perhaps a teleprompter malfunction.
