Exactly right.
Actually, McGinniss's publisher put out about six months ago that they were shooting for a mid-September release date, so it looks like it was scheduled some time ago. McGinniss is going to have to a) memorize the faces of Todd and Track Palin and b) grow eyes in the back of his head.
Life could get a little lumpy for him, talking about someone's mom like that.
Yes, her black women vote went from 2% to zero.
But her black men vote may have just gone from 4% to 20%
If its true—I respect her more for having the courage to try something new. We need someone like this to try new things for the nation! New solutions for the county and not a re-hash of the SOS we get from Obama. Only die hard racists would be turned off by this-—and they will support anyone the GOP nominates (maybe even including Herman Cain!) who isn’t Obama.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so transparent and foolish.
Like I said, classy!
“obviously this is meant to drive a wedge between Sarah and her supporters on the right due to some racial issue
I would contend anyone attempting to promote such a wedge is a racist themselves (or see everyone on the right as a racist... which is most likely the case)”
And, what about the cocaine issue? Let’s, hypothetically, say that it is true (I do not believe it is personally). Do you think that comparing it to Barry’s admitted cocaine use would make it forgiveable among most social conservatives? She is in the same age group (45-50) as Obama. I doubt that more than 5% of Americans in that generation (the so-called 80s generation) ever used a hard drug like cocaine. The reason I am asking is to gauge how far we, as conservatives, will bend as it relates to the acceptablility of a drug like cocaine? Can it be minimized in the minds of conservatives as just a youthful indescretion for one of our candidates? For many, cocaine use is much more serious than is marijuana. IMO, this revelation would be a very damaging if ever proven true for any of our presidential candidates. Most social conservatives would probably not be very understanding.
But since the left controls so much of the media, and since relatively few of the public (left or not) think about all being imperfect and sinners, the hypocrite meme will take root with many.
And you actually BELIEVE this hit piece?
Todd, her kids and her parents will stand behind her. I don't know what she did or didn't do back in the 80's it's none of my business. People need to just stop over reacting and if you have faith in Sarah, then you need to stand behind her too. If you are opposed to Sarah, then you need to just keep out of it because it's a dem kind of thing that is going on. Let this kind of scummy thing die from lack of oxygen. Best thing we all could do is go ho-hum and move on to the next thread.
Not buying it. This will backfire.
Why didn't they report the Enquirer's cover a few weeks ago called "Obama marriage EXPLODES! Wife confronts him over cheating".
You respect her for having the courage to try something new?? Serious?? LMAO
Yeah.
They're the publication which originally broke the John Edwards story.
Remember?
Of course not.
Our beloved Sarah would never sin.
Handsome John Edwards might.
But not Sarah.
I was only responding to the post it was directed to. Sarah was, is, and will be my candidate until and unless she says otherwise. And I HOPE that this disgusting man gets every ounce of karma he has coming for this. It’s evil.
They're the publication which originally broke the John Edwards story.
Remember?
Ya mean the one the Compost wouldn't touch for a long time? That story?
Jumped right on this gossip though, didn't they. Wonder why? Hmmmm. Naw! The MSM hasn't become tabloid press, have they? *snicker*
I wonder how many did the math to figure out how old Sarah was with her encounter with Rice (if it even happened)? At 23, even women like Sarah Palin do stupid stuff.
Notice how this was timed just in time for candidates to announce their candidacy.
As for Joe McGinniss, he had better have a good lawyer for the slander charges he could face.
......So? the National Enquire also ran a story earlier this year that said Todd was involved with a prostitute and that the police had his name on a list of her clients as she was spilling the beans to police -— the Anchorage police later said that the story was false and that Todd Palin wasn’t involved in any way....Yahoo news even had a opinion piece talking about the allegation if true would doom the Palins politically
This will backfire...lots of women will see the sexism and misogyny in this hit piece...
