Northern Arizona University Halts Students Distributing Flags for 9/11

What started out as a patriotic gesture intended to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, ended up becoming a major verbal scuffle that one North Arizona University student calls “a free speech violation.”

The incident, which has likely evolved into something much larger than either side originally anticipated, occurred when students were passing out American flags on their public university campus last Friday. The Arizona Daily Sun shares more about the commemorative activity:

The university administration repeatedly cites its authority to regulate "time, place, and manner" of student expression, a reference to first amendment case law. The question is whether their targeting of this specific group was "reasonable" or "capricious" and discriminatory. One wonders if they would have been quite so zealous with a Muslim student group.

The reason why Muslims get away with what they do is because Liberals (University Administrators) are physically afraid of them. They are afraid of getting their heads cut off.

Muslims have been taught by Liberals to act violent if they don't get their way. Liberals will always cave in the face of physical violence.

Christians do not get violent and kill people when they don't get their way. Liberals don't mind attacking Christians because they know they won't fight back (physically).

If the Pope were to declare "Jihad" on anyone who attacks the Bible, the Church, or Jesus, the Liberals would immediately stop their attacks on Christians/Catholics, and treat them with the same respect/deference that they show the Muslims.

Wait a minute. I'm not sure I understand:

To burn, stomp on, or degrade the American Flag in any way is Freedom of Speech, but we can't distribute it???
