NEW YORK (AP) -- Republicans have scored an upset victory in a House race that became a referendum on President Barack Obama's economic policies.

Retired media executive and political novice Bob Turner defeated Democratic state Assemblyman David Weprin in a special election Tuesday to succeed Rep. Anthony Weiner, a seven-term Democrat who resigned in June after a sexting scandal.

HARD to POLL the TP... nobody knows who they are if they will even admit it..

Anybody that tells you they polled the TP.. they are of course LYING... or deluded..
The numbers for Michele Bachmann are under estimated..

Save a screen cap of the original. I’m sure AP will delete the part of the headline that reads “seen as Obama rebuke” after a call from the White House and/or a few of the boys at SEIU.

I hope someone did save a screen cap. They've already changed the whole headline. It now reads, "GOP upset win in NY portends challenge for Obama".
Guess they got that phone call. LOL!

CONTEXT--from DUmmie web site projecting racism on conservative:It’s all about getting that “n” word out of THEIR White House.

Sometimes I wonder how these DUmmies would react to learn some party afiliations:

Jim Crow == DEMOCRAT

Martin Luther King Jr == REPUBLICAN

Fred Phelps (of the disgusting church that protests funerals and is absolutely hateful to homosexuals) == DEMOCRAT

See a pattern?

The US is filled with idiots and the orthodox Jewish community is no different than evangelical Christians or Muslim fundies, all religious nut bags. Once again religion and racism ruins the day.

Can you hear that, Jewish voters? Do you understand now what your fellow Democrats really think of you?

And Last November disaster was not a rebuke of Obama either. Did you read any stories last November blaming Obama? Maybe I just missed the election analysts stories.

“Did you read any stories last November blaming Obama?”

Obama’s own media was pointing out that while other prominent Dems recorded robo-calls for this race, Obama did not. It was also pointed out many times that his popularity was very low here.

I think Hell froze over; the media has decidedly turned against the Kenyan Pirate, and I can only guess it is to force him out or encourage primary challengers (the media certainly didn’t become conservative overnight).

This is very satisfying!

Still, I believe we should all be realistic. The Dems pissing away a congressional district does not indicate a trend of Jewish Democrats moving to the right.

But the Republicans should milk this for all the PR possible, rub Obama et al noses in it for as long as possible. A national drumbeat so to speak.

Oh, wait, I am talking about the GOP. Not a chance the leadership will go for the jugular now when the time is right.

When government is small and focused as designed by the original patriots agreed however, every government is then slowly taken over by the ideology driven zealots that destroy the government, country and people leaving all of it in the trash bin of history.

Weiner received govt paychecks until the special election to fill his seat. Now Weiner can start sucking at the public teat bigtime. The parasite will pocket:

(1) Congressional pension and benefits,

(2) govt checks for being Scuhmer's Congressional aid, and,

(3) govt checks for being on NY's City Council.

=====================================

Weiner was milking the system while "in sex rehab" relaxing on the beach in the posh Hamptons, and colluding with his backers to finance his future-------perhaps a well-paid sinecure reserved for "disgraced" lifelong politicians who never had a real job (see Eliot Spitzer et al).

Not to forget----Weiner also has $5 million stashed away---campaign donations for his thwarted mayoral ambitions. You have to wonder what the little creep did to get $5 million. The Congressional Ethics Committee (yes, that is a Cong committee) says the money cannot be converted to his personal use. I guess he'll contribute the $5mill to UNICEF to feed the hungry (/snix). But wait.............

HOW TO SPEND $5 MILL CAMPAIGN DONATIONS ON YOURSELF LEGALLY: All Weiner has to do is playact like he's a candidate for some obscure office, buy a mansion as 'campaign headquarters,' luxury cars for 'campaign use'.......pretty soon the $5 mil is all spent. All legal.

Not to forget all those endorsement deals Weiner is lining up:

"I've been using volumizing Pantene Shampoo ever since I was in HS."

Unfortunately, life becomes more complex at every stage of the development of civilizations and the growth of government to deal with those complications is inevitable.

Do you seriously think you can run a city like NY or Chicago without government? I know Marx believed (or claimed to believe) that government would wither away after the Revolution and the dictatorship of the proletariat but that does not happen experience shows us.

Weiner jokes? We should never allow that great tradition to die.

I have been watching the Duke’s movies over of late and am quite taken by the sympathy they show for the Indians who were often portrayed as a noble people which wound up in the way of an irresistible progress and lying, grafting politicians. Of course, the “Undefeated” is an exception in which he hates Indians. But it brings to mind the inevitable Leftist Lies about his character painting him as a racist and jingoist.

Just saw one of the lesser ones “Hondo” last night - very good. Funny how he uses the dog in that one like in “Big Jake”.

“The numbers for Michele Bachmann are under estimated..” Not only are they not under estimated, they have hit their peak. It is downhill from here. Plus, the electorate simply does not elect House Members as President.

You may be thinking of “The Searchers” in which he plays a “racist” avenger - some consider it his finest performance. Now in “Hondo”, he plays a half-breed. My favorite of his films is “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.”
