I doubt Obama and Dems will go for this.

Make all members of the Administration, from the POTUS on down, submit their information to e-verify and the publish the results. We want to make sure that everyone on the payroll is eligible to work in the US. :*)

Especially as Obama is one of the 0.5% whose SSN fails E-Verify!

We use e-verify. It’s a joke. You can’t run a person’s info until you’ve ALREADY hired them. If you find out they aren’t legal, you are forbidden to fire them, they must go through ‘the process’. After the employee has contacted the authorities, etc., and their info still does not check out, you are told you may legally terminate their employment. I think this is to put the burden on the employer and off the illegal employee. If you keep them and there’s trouble, it’s probably going to be for you, not them.

I wonder what Gov. Perry’s opinion of this is.

A president Rick Perry wouldn’t go for it either:

“During Friday’s debate, Gov. Rick Perry said: “E-Verify would not make a hill of beans’ difference when it comes to what’s happening in America today. You secure the border first, then you can talk about how to identify individuals in an immigration situation.”

The Dems fear such a bill more than they fear a fence being built or more border guards. No jobs, no reason for most of them to be here. Not only does it make it unattractive for them to come but it will be impetus for them to leave. No more demagoguing that we can not deport them all. Many of them will get on the bus themselves.

As a voluntary system this is barely tolerable. As a mandatory system, this opens the door to unbridled evil.

“You must have the permission of the US federal government to work.”

No argument about what good it might do comes anywhere close to the horror this visits on our nation. And this violation of our individuality is just the last in a long list of violations, the gradual elimination of Americans as people who have their own unique, personal destiny of their own making. In yet another way, we become “subjects” of the federal government of the United States. Property.

Chairman Lamar Smith should subpoena not only BHO's SSN application, but also ALL of the examiner's records who processed that application.

A freeper with apparent 'insider knowledge' claims that the SSA examiner identified BHO II as a 'permanent legal resident' at that time (ie, NOT yet a citizen... here ).
An American Refugee Resettlement Organization maintains legal custody of BHO II until he turns 18. His case manager in CT files his SS-5 with the SSA in 1976-1977 using his status as a Permanent Legal Resident in the United States as his qualifications. A document examiner with the SSA reviewed and verified the SS-5 and its supporting documents. An alpha-numeric code is generated as a result of this document examination. BHO’s II PLR code is marked with a “Y” (Permanent Legal Resident = Yes).

Obama became a Naturalized US Citizen in his early 20’s.
Our typically-tight-lipped freeper (Sven) elaborated on that process here... here .
Each SS-5, application for SSN, is examined and supporting documents are verified by an examiner at the SSA. The results of the examination and verification are coded under specific policies and procedures.

Examining Obama’s alleged SSNs and applications is not enough. The results of the examinations of the documents provided with each application is what is important.

Orly is asking for the form his case manager in Connecticut filled out and nothing more. It proves nothing ... other than Obama had a case manager located in Connecticut handling his legal paperwork. A person in fostercare isn’t eliminated from being eligible for POTUS.

Orly needs to get the code generated by the SSA after the SS-5, Application for SSN, was processed.

Sven named the agency that served as BHO II's refugee case worker here...

So, our political elites, in both major parties, refuse to secure the border for decades, and refuse to enforce our immigration laws inside our borders.

So, what do they do when the people demand that they do their job? Instead of securing the border, or enforcing our laws, they move towards forcing every American to go, hat in hand, to government bureaucrats for permission to work and earn their daily bread.

Why would the Feds prefer this to policing the border?
