VAN SUSTEREN: All right. I take it from -- a little bit from your discussion -- I don't mean to read into it. You can speak for yourself, obviously -- but that you -- that you are -- that you're pleased with at least with the field tonight or with the way that they answered. Is that correct?
PALIN: Yes, I was pleased. I was very happy with it. Let me go back to that issue with Governor Perry. I was governor of Alaska at the time that that issue came down, and I told our health and human services department Alaska was not going to mandate immunizations for our teenage daughters.
And there had to have been something to that whole issue because it just didn't sound like Governor Perry. Governor Perry was, you know, the proverbial anti-government type of maverick there in Texas, and yet on this issue, he decided that he was going to know better than a parent was going to know in terms of what the health care or health benefit would be for their teenage daughters. So I knew there was something to it.
And remember when the media went a little bit crazy and demanded to see my 25,000 e-mails that I had written during my term as governor. In those e-mails, there is proof of there that the issue arose while I was governor of Alaska. And the e-mails reflect my -- my principle there was, No, government, stay out of the lives of family decisions like that, and do not tell a parent that their daughter must be immunized. ....... And it was a -- it was kind of an illustration or a big of evidence of some crony capitalism.

Absolutely I am going to question the Palin people on the McLame, Fiorina, Perry endorsements. Everyone jumped on Ricks case for being a full out RINO POS for that Arlen thing and needed to go away, yet Palin got really involved with these people and not a word. It seems far clearer why Rick backed Arlen when the entire GOP establishment including the sitting President told him to or risk losing campaign cash in a then very Blue state than why Palin picked who she picked and her motivations.
So Rick was for sale?
Too bad it backfired, eh?
You have yet to explain the reason for Palins ill advised or ill informed endorsements? Why would a FOX News Analyst be so into RINO candidates?
Palin didnt have to fill a $10 billion gap in 2003 without raising taxes, and a $25 billion gap in 2010 without raising taxes. Perry and the Republican Texas lege had to do that, and did it.
In 2008, Palin opposed budget cuts made in the Alaska Republican lege.

“Palin: Budget cuts a disservice to Alaskans”
So she should have only endorsed people in 2010 who were flawless? There is no one who fits that bill. She was supporting the best of the field at the time to try and make the Congress and as many governorships as conservative as possible. That doesn’t mean that she agrees with and/or supports every single action a candidate has ever done or ever will do. I have no problem with her supporting Perry for Gov, because what was the alternative to him? Geesh!
Like you think the media wont do the same to Perry ( or anyone else) that they did to palin? Here’s where I stand: unless the dems find another cadidate, the winner of the gop primary is the next president.
If you are going to roll out with that commentary she had on FOX last night, purity had better be the top priority. Otherwise her admonition of so called crony capitalism is hollow.
By the time Palin was in to help Perry, Kay Baily was hammering Perry on HPV. It was no secret to anyone on this issue with the specifics.
As I said before, there is no law that Palin needed to endorse anyone here, especially if he is as corrupt as she said he is last night.
Guess I need to go relisten. I missed her calling Perry “corrupt.”
“Gov Palin has just been deamonized by the media and is best not running, especially now that ist too late.”
So, you suggest the MSM pick our candidates? Or that we pick candidates according to “electability” according to pollsters?
Palin is overdoing this idea of crony capitalism. She's pretending she is Mrs. Perfect while everyone else is corrupt. She inferred it in her film when they showed photos of Boehner, Cantor and McConnell but she has never shown one bit of evidence they are corrupt.
I see no evidence of Perry's corruption either.
PALIN: Still very engaged internally with my family in discussions about whether we should do this or not, Greta. But in the meantime, I'm getting kind of a kick out of this, and I have to be honest with you, getting a kick out of getting out there, giving a speech, making some statements about things that must be discussed, and then the very next day watching some of the candidates get out there and discuss what it was that we just talked about, like the corruption, the crony capitalism, the waste, the fraud, some of the things that are going on right now.
It's, like, Come on, candidates! It's about time you started talking about that. And if that perhaps is my role right now, presently, is to get people talking about the issues that the American people deserve to hear discussed and then solutions can -- can result from the discussion about some of these issues that we talk about, I'm going to keep doing that.
Sounds like she's not running.
Wake up! Perry believes in many of the same things Gov Palin believes in...or at least he says he does. The very same things they hate about Palin.
Not believers in evolution,or global warming, holds Christian family values, perceived as anti gay.
So get real, the Palin haters are going to hate Perry just the same
“Is Governor Palin the only one who hasnt?”
Yes.
I bought the 'not running' stock when it was rock bottom. Even during the East coast History bus tour when they all proclaimed the day has dawned I was posting 'not running' without reservation(and got hissed at). Then there was the 'see you in Iowa;' video supposedly predicting a big announcement on Sept 3, and Team Sarah trying to put out those high expectations. That was REALLY funny. Now a bunch went out on a limb for Sept 18 which is pretty soon.
Every time they all claim they see her 'running' I have seen her 'not running'. But this Greta interview is pretty plain. NOT RUNNING. IT WAS ALWAYS OBVIOUS!
“Seems like there is either some deficiency in Palins judgement or she really didn’t think this was an issue of corruption.Something doesn’t add up here based on Palins own words last night.”
Or maybe she simply wasn’t aware of the details. Or perhaps you’re simply being disingenuous.
“Gov Perry can win.”
Maybe. Maybe not. Do you honestly think that the leftmedia won’t do it’s best to demonize Gov. Perry when and if he becomes the gop nominee?
If we’re only going to support candidates that will have a relatively easy go of it from the leftmedia and the gop establishment, then let’s stop fussing with any candidate other than Mitt Romney.
So you are going with poor judgment since she didn't bother to look into any of the charges that Kay Baily was leveling at Perry before her endorsement. Readily available info . The moment Perry's name was mentioned as a possible candidate for POTUS, threads lit up on FR with the Perry's Merck connections and the staffer turned lobbyist. None of this was a secret.
“So you are going with poor judgment since she didn’t bother to look into any of the charges that Kay Baily was leveling at Perry before her endorsement.”
Nothing of the sort. I don’t expect anyone, politician or otherwise, to know the intimate details of what would have been an obscure Texas political controversy at the time. And in any case, even if we make the worst assumptions about Rick Perry’s handling or motivations on the gardasil issue, was he still a better candidate for Texas Governor than KBH? Easily he was.
I don’t think that Sarah Palin made a mistake in endorsing Rick Perry for governor. It is one thing to say that Rick Perry was the better candidate for governor of Texas a few years ago given the competition, and quite another to say that he is the better candidate for President now.
“She was brilliant. brilliant! She had them all fooled. She even had us fooled. By doing what she did, keeping the idea alive she MIGHT be a candidate and never having to become one, she changed the presidential primary debate so it was performed on her terms. She made them debate crony capitalism. They all danced to her tune terrified she would jump in if they didnt. She made the MSM ask the questions she wanted them asked and to talk about her being a 'potential' candidate, especially that stupid FNC. She dominated the race without even being a candidate just like she won the 2010 mid-term races without even running for office herself. She changed the nature of leadership by leading us unconventionally. She even had me fooled, and that takes a-lot to do.”
Can you see it too?
