A documentary about Sarah Palin depicts the former vice-presidential candidate and Tea Party idol as a woman with enormous charm but merciless vindictiveness.
Director Nick Broomfield's Sarah Palin: You Betcha!, which is playing at the Toronto International Film Festival, offers a glimpse of the former Alaska governor from interviews with family, including her parents, and former friends and associates.
Palin comes across as a woman known for ruthlessly firing people and holding spiteful grudges, leaving many Alaskans worried to talk about her for fear of reprisals, whether from Palin or her supporters.
"I think that beneath the charisma, which she undoubtedly has, and her ability to engage with people, which she undoubtedly can do, there was a sense of fear about her vindictiveness," Broomfield said in an interview before the festival.

Y’know, I just have an awful feeling that someone is gonna try and kill that gal, whether she runs or not. The fear and hate runs that deep.

After what, 5 years? we’re now being told what a spiteful meanie she was/is? Where have all these supposed victims of her wrath been the last few years when all the checkbooks were open for any kind of dirt on the Palins?

But you want to place a bet that one (or more) of the broadcast networks will air the piece (or similar hit pieces) a day or two before the general election right in the middle of primetime? (a "world premiere" special)

When you actually do what you say you are going to do you make enemies. Sarah has been a reformer from day one, and is probably still interested in filling that role. She has already been more than vetted. This book will not make a spit in the oceans difference.
The Good-ol'-Boy Republican Establishment is in the same boat, with their token candidates to do their bidding being blasted out easily by Sarah's announcement, in a couple of weeks.
I have nothing for contempt for Nick Broomfield. He is the same scumbag who maligned our troops and portrayed them as murderers in a movie about the Haditha incident.
He is lower than scum in my book.

Gotta ask, what did THEY do to warrant reprisals? Sorry I don’t see any 3 a.m. wake up, and drag out activity on her part. She continues to be the center of the target, there is no let up. WHY ARE THEY SO AFRAID OF HER? My take is she has the fire the other candidates lack and they know it. She recognizes corruption in government and will take action to remove it. The more I see the other candidates the more I tend to stay with Palin. If she does not run, I’ll be very disappointed. We have a Jester and clown as President and VP, I’m sure she’ll do a far better job. The other candidates will also be a 100%+ improvement over what we have now, but IMO they lack the fire.
Not betting on it until I see it happen. *grumble*

So someone has a poor opinion of Palin.
The question is are there enough real facts to validate that opinion
