Sarah Palin says she is not afraid to call out fellow Republicans when she thinks they have been "part of the problem." On Monday night, Palin accuses Republican candidate for President Rick Perry of engaging in "crony capitalism." Perry, as governor of Texas, mandated that young girls get a vaccination for the HPV virus in an executive order. Perry is criticized for this in part because of his connections to the drug manufacturer Merck.

They are all guilty of NON PERFECT behavior.Palin also said she speaks and it happens the next day and she liked that and she likes being a spokesperson keeping them in check on the side.As well as she said in so many words; it does not sound right Perry did this as he has never done this in the past.
I like what Palin stands for but she is all over the place. She endorsed Perry and said she would be Romney’s VP you betcha in 2012.So if she wants to play referee/tea party political analysis on the side with power she better address her past endorsements.Rove and that other blowhard speak for the GOP establishment.I think Palin is the new tea party political analysis.Thank God we have one as no one listens to Rove anymore and his garbage needs countered.Governor’s use their positions all the time to get special things and favors. No one is perfect.
I wish she would run but she better address her past endorsements or she will look like she is playing armchair quarterback. She has more respect from people than Rove and I wish her well. She seemed to endorse/favor Bachmann. She obviously does not hate her and think she is a RINO like her loon fans on this forum do.Possibly Palin’s words will bnoost Bachmann up but sadly like Palin I don’t think Bachmann could garner the moderate voters to beat Obama. We can’t play around and put some one in there and cross our fingers.Obama may have a challenger.
I agree its odd.
It is time for Tea Party members to stop paying good money to hear for the umpteenth time Sarah Palin playing Hamlet.
Only since about August of this year.
He previously provided passionate defense of his EO.
Perry Now Says Vaccine Order Was Mistake - WSJ.com
After long defending the decision, Mr. Perry has apologized repeatedly for the order since launching his bid for the Republican presidential nomination. Here is an article that includes Perry's prepared remarks of Saturday, May 05, 2007, after the Texas legislature overrulled his EO ..
Rick Perry - Executive Order for Gardasil
But the fact remains: my order always has been and always will be about protecting women's health. And while I respect the voice of the legislature, this issue has never been about the separation of powers, but the saving of lives.
Perry, as governor of Texas, mandated that young girls get a vaccination for the HPV virus in an executive order. Perry is criticized for this in part because of his connections to the drug manufacturer Merck.First off, let's forget the 'crony capitalism' and just focus on Perry's action.
Good, now that that's out of the way, I ask, just who the (blank) does Perry think he is?
Caesar? Mao? Stalin? Hitler? Castro? Or just your average run of the mill tin-pot TYRANT! Because mandating that little girls in a public school system be injected with any Sexually Transmitted Disease Vaccine is NOT the action of a Conservative. It's statist at its best and tyrannical at its worst.
Yet last night when confronted by his heinous deed did he back down or apologize? No. He just 'clarified' that the way he went about this Gardasil MANDATE was wrong. Not that the policy in itself was. Some conservative that is, ha!
Furthermore, if I had lived in Texas when our girls were younger and this Mandate from Gov Good Hair came down his State JBT's would face one very (cough) 'ticked off' father who would defend his little girls at all costs!

See post 72 and 76. You just bought yet another left-wing lie about Palin (surprise).
It’s apparent that Sarah is going to endorse Michele if she does not run herself. If Rick Perry is such an ogre, why did Sarah endorse him in his 2010 reelection bid?
I’m so damn tired of the Pubbies destroying each other and getting ready to send our nominee into the General Election wounded, battered and already defeated. I love you Sarah, and you’ve been my first choice all along. But, either get in the race or STFU!!!
Heheh. No way.
I live and vote in Maine, so my primary vote is pretty much worthless - as is my vote in the general.
I'm not invested or excited about presidential politics. The public will follow the (poll and media) leaders, and rather than focus on where their political power really lies (a functioning Congress that respects the constitution would be nice), will instead take the easy and "more fun" path of watching the presidential race.
Of the announced candidates, I like Cain and McCotter the best. Neither has a snowball's chance in hell of being nominated by the Republican Party.
Palin and her family made double what Perry received in legal campaign contribution by passing her windfall oil profit tax while not subjecting her own husbands commercial fishing enterprise to the same "constitutional requirement"
We can go all day on Palin and her hypocrisy and we will.
I don’t believe any of that money could be used for her own campaign.
Interestingly in the Alaska Senate race, SarahPAC gave $15,000 to Joe Miller and $5000 to Lisa Murkowski.
Conservative, indeed!

“Freepers don’t go to leftist sites for fake info!”
You have some raw nerve saying that as Bachmann was smeared by the Palin bot loons using this very same tactic.
Spenard received multiple city and state contracts fron palin administrations. Spenard paid palin to do TV spots for them between elected positions. Spenard sponsored the toddster's racing team. Those are facts that speak for themselves.
Now, if I had mentioned the rumors that Spenard 'helped' the toddster build their dream house and in fact had a builders lien on the property (http://dnr.alaska.gov/ssd/recoff/sag/DocDisplay.cfm?SelectedDoc=20010228400&District=311) and then tried to paint that as part of a quid pro quo then you might have something to argue...but I didn't.
bkmk
Links, please.
Oh, and don't decry Palin supporters doing it when you do it yourself.
It is common knowledge that palin did paid TV ads for Spenard between political gigs - even one of freepdom's most ardent palinites admits so on this very thread.
It is also common knowledge that Spenard sponsored todd palin's racing team.
It is also fact that Spenard benefitted from both palin's administrations (mayor and governor).
It is also fact that Spenard was involved enough in the building of the palin's dream home that they held a builders lien on the property (the link to the filing is up thread).
Make of it what you will but those are the facts, and facts are apolitical.
“A wise man sometimes changes his mind, but a damn fool never does.”
This quote is well known in my family as my father-in-law used to state it at every appropriate occasion.
Romney has not changed his mind regarding his health care program. Perry has admitted he should have done better. Would you rather have Romney as your candidate?
Ah, I see, you didn't bother even opening that link or responding to it. Can't let the facts get in the way of running with a left-wing hatchet job against Palin, eh?
So tell us how an out-of-office Palin could do anything more to benefit Spenard there than with her local celebrity as an endorser.
It is also common knowledge that Spenard sponsored todd palin's racing team.
Iron Dog is a big deal in Alaska. Once again, smart business move for Spenard to get publicity
It is also fact that Spenard was involved enough in the building of the palin's dream home that they held a builders lien on the property (the link to the filing is up thread).
Ah, so because of that, there is some kind of hanky-panky? A builder's lien is a rather strange way of dishing out payola, dude.
As the link in 72 noted, Spenard was the only building supply of any note in Wasilla at the time. Where else were the Palins going to get their building supplies? Seattle?
Smoke that, troll-boy. Only liberals and PDS-addled twerps try to make anything of this.
