A Pledge Never to Vote for Romney: Send a Message to the GOP

Romney is Obama-Lite. Take the simple pledge:

I will not vote for Romney for any reason.

I will not sit home. I will pick the constitution party candidate...they are a reasonable conservative political party that’s already out there.

Thank you VERY much for posting that. As I said, my search was very basic (simple-minded!) so I may have missed your post if it was here.

I thank you because MR’s gun-grabbing is rarely mentioned by even the most conservative of talk-show hosts. We need to get the message out.

It’s hard to be worse than that, but Romney is a chameleon. In 1998/9 when he ran for the Senate he supported GENERAL GUN CONTROL.

He served one term in MA. He could have ticked off the Dems to his heart's content. He didn't because ideologically, he's one of them.

Respectfully, I don't recall if he announced at the start of his term that it would be his only one or not. Either way, if he had his eye on one of the Senate seats as a follow-up, he certainly could not have operated outside of certain ideological constraints.

Please understand, I'm not saying to trust Romney, take him at his word, etc. What I'm saying is that an understanding of the political environment he'd have to govern within as President, coupled with a belief that he's a serious opportunist, means that its highly unlikely that he'd appoint Liberal or Moderate justices. And "unlikely" is a much more palatable position, for me anyways, than the "certain" we'll get with a second Obama term.
