Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.
I was in Europe a few weeks ago, and a Dutch guy says to me, "You're not one of the Tea Party people are you?"
I said, "Hell yes, I am!"
Then, I started explaining to him what the Tea Party was about... CONTROLLING a runaway government... and, he was AGREEING with me. He actually thought, the Tea Party was responsible for opposing voting rights for blacks...in the '60's!!!!
Can't imagine where he got THAT impressions (CNN International)
I chose not to have my youngest son vaccinated against chicken pox only because the vaccine was brand new at the time. It has been on the market long enough for me to be comfortable with it now.
Why does she use the words “innocent little girls?”. Innocence has nothing to do with it. Is the vaccine safe or not? I take offense that she would try to connect this vaccine with “innocence” which seems to be a code word for virgin.
Ron PUTZ will NEVER drop out. He is sad and pathetic to behold and completely out of touch with the real world when it comes to foreign affairs and the islamic hate of the west, JUST BECAUSE WE EXIST as non-mulsims!
-—She was turned down and told that the hispanic grants (at that college) were for illegals.
That’s just wrong. We citizens should take care of each other first, we signed a Constitution. Same with our inner city kids with no jobs because so many are taken by illegals. Its not hostility towards illegals, its our commitment to each other first.
Don’t get FOX. Please let us know what she says.
And, right there lies the problem. You do not just get antibodies, you get the mercury, formaldehyde, msg, bromide, etc.. The bodies immune system has no choice but to respond to these toxins. Sometimes, it is a fatal response. If government is going to force this or highly suggest this upon its citizens. It better be completely objective and educated on the subject, not just bought.
Tonight’s Winners and Losers
Winners (Nobody) Several Candidates battled to a draw but based on weaknesses kept them from claiming victory. In the best order I can think of:
1. Gingrich - Best Debater, but as been mentioned before he’s got the baggage.
2. Romney (Tie) - Came out slightly ahead in the Romney/Perry scuffles. That doesn’t mean people will vote for him, I just see this as the performance tonight.
2. Cain (Tie) - Was good as Gingrich, but Cain didn’t get a lot of speaking time.
4. Perry - He was hurt on his two weakest issues. However, if he comes out of tonight unhurt, he is well poised to carry on to the nomination because this is about the worst they can take at him. I don’t think he’s a great debater though.
5. Bachmann - Well, she tried to take swipes at Perry because that’s where her voters went. It’s not what she said anything bad, some people will accuse her of being shrill, but what alternative was there? Repeat talking points and go quietly?
6. Santorum - He was OK, but is getting no traction.
7. Paul (Tie) - This dude just won’t go away.
7. Huntsman (Tie) - Oh my God, this guy has no base. Get him off the stage now.
Like I said, if Perry survives tonight, he is in the driver’s seat because these issues (HPV and Immigration) will have come out in the open. If he falters from tonight, then Palin’s window may be time to jump in. If she waits to long and allows him to recover, her time will past.
He “won the war with Mexicans” He isn’t “afraid” of them. Just what America needs, another Big Government Panderer. How exciting. Only the blind thinks that those who have problems with the massive Mexican influx are “afraid” of them. We ARE afraid of our country being destroyed, in part b/c of the bankrupting of the medical, welfare, education and penal systems by illegals.
If you are right, and American pols must now cater to the lawless in order to win an election, America is a bleeding corpse. Bob
Yeah Huntsman will throw his .00001 support to some lucky candidate!Dam Sarah is soooo good!
The fact is, they just threw the kitchen sink at Perry. There is nothing left to throw at him. When he weathers this — and he will weather this — he’s got a sweet ride ahead.
I didn't like that EO either. But when he listened to his constituents and backed off of it (which doesn't get mentioned often), it demonstrated that he can recognize and admit when he's made a mistake.
“This debate had created entry for Sarah Palin.”
She’s gunning for a role in a Perry administration if anything whatsoever.
Bachmann is plucking my last nerve. I found myself rolling my eyes every time she opened her mouth toward the end. Perry needs to get stronger in his performance if he’s going to have a chance to win this.
Yeah that 's like breaking into a bank and saying "I'm just working on my finances"...
She is off mine as well.
>> “He wanted to prevent cancer and Guardasil does.” <<
.
That is flat out nonsense!
Gardasil is a serious threat to life, and has no effect on cancer whatsoever.
I’m a woman too, and I thought Bachmann did a good job. She didn’t appear desperate at all.
Bachmann lied in the vaccine exchange. Parents in Texas are made aware before they can opt out of any and all vaccines that are given to their kids. This was true before Perry became Governor.
The gayish one said he would bring his Harley to the WH. Finally finished the debate! Kept having to hit pause, my little boss gets needy in the evenings.
Wow anderson has such light blue eyes. I never watch CNN. But hey, their debate was pretty good, letting the tea party people ask the questions!
