I don’t have details on exactly how, but my tagline covers the goal we should have. So called “nation building” and meals on wheels is not cutting it, and won’t.
More like lax ass measures to prevent such?

I am venting my feelings of frustration. Put frankly, we have lost mroe than enough of our finest and bravest and their lives are worth more than even the normal citizenry. Until it’s a grassroots effort, until there is change from within, there will still be resistance. So what if we are seen as driven out? I care more about my troops than these people and while the citizenry didn’t like the Taliban, they are doing precious little to work with us on as much of a basis as possible.
I agree with you, our troops should be long gone from Afghanistan, especially since bin Laden and many other top al quaida leaders have been taken out - along with probably tens of thousands of Taliban, al Quaida and their sympathizers. Not much else we can do. The islamofacists will just keep waging a war of attrition, killing as many Americans as possible while caring less about their own losses. I say we out to stay only for a three month bombing session, night and day, day and night, killing as many of these murderous cockroaches as possible, and then forget about Afghanistan altogether. The Afghan people are rats, turning on our troops all the time. They don’t like Americans, so let the Taliban move back in and show them what Afghanistan will be like without us. Maybe after a year or two of mass, bloody murders perpetrated against the Afghanistan people by the Taliban and al Quaida, they’ll beg us to return, and next time actually welcome us and help us to victory. But I still think the only help we should give them is air support and satellite intelligence, no more. Let them defend themselves with NATO air support. If they truly want to rid themselves of the Taliban pigs, then NATO air supportand intelligence will be all they’ll need.
You totally understand my sentiments; our troops are worth more and the only thing they are good for are logistical support, nothing else. Withdraw, bomb them to smithereens like we did with Dresden, and then await their begging for help. Then, only then do we help, but on OUR terms and they have to adhere to the help as long as we’re there. They break the terms, we leave. No ground support though, they have to fight that.
Looks like the war was lost the minute a muslim was elected President and promptly announced our surrender.
Our withdrawal will mean the end of the Karzai regime and the Taliban will go right back to where they where before 9/11.
The military would be more effectively used against the commie sons of bitches in DC who sold them out.
I believe John Derbyshire at NRO is the person who coined that phrase.
God help these young men, and may god eradicate Islam and relieve us from our Islamic leader and his death cult. May Lucifer burn Mohammad and Hitler, together in hell, for eternity. God bless America, Amen.
I understand what you are saying. We would not be running from the Islamic enemy - we would be protecting our troops from the enemy within.
Did you forget the history of the Viet Nam war where leftists infiltrated the military and the rest of our government and fought for the communists during the war? They killed a lot of soldiers, gleefully. Liberals spit on them when they got home. Now they are busy forcing homosexuality on them and harassing Christian soldiers. Marxists have much more power now than they did then.
I don’t think we will be getting rid of the Left with one election or even ten. Reagan had the right idea when he flew fighter jets over to bomb Gadaffi’s house rather than invading the country. At that time we still remembered the Left’s success against the US in Viet Nam.
We know the ideology of political correctness killed the soldiers at Fort Hood. Did it kill these 70 soldiers in this incident too? How many have died at the altar of that lie? We will not know for a long time until after the war. All we know is that it is back and it is ruling over our soldiers and would gladly kill them and has killed them.
Our citizen of the world elite can not be trusted to not turn on America in a war of any length. We elected a man who is completely sympathic to Muslims and whose “minister” preached “God damn America.” He is a Black Marxist and hates the constitution. Soldiers should not die for that betrayal. We should not stick our heads in the sand and let them be killed. In my opinion.
-——We should not stick our heads in the sand ——
And yet that is precisely what you seem to be advocating. Fleeing in the face of danger is much akin to head in the sand. hiding merely encourages the enemy.
Perhaps they didn’t get the word that today was “A day of service.” I’m sure if they had known they would have been working in an Obamaville soup kitchen today like the president.
Agree on EVERY point.
Starve the beast ...and especially the last point about muslims.
Tired of seeing them sneaking around this country, just silently infiltrating, and up to who knows what.
Exactly!
I have a nephew stationed in Kandahar. He is an Army infantryman in a Stryker brigade. Nobody has heard from him in a week. His mother is freaking out.
