How is this:
WASHINGTON, DC SEPTEMBER 10: U.S. President Barack Obama (R) with daughter Malia Obama, and, from left, Jeffrey Ragsdale, Jamillah Linkins, and Marianne Ali, participate in a service project to commemorate the 9/11 anniversary at DC Central Kitchen September 10, 2011 in Washington, DC. The First Family packaged meals that will go to organizations such as DC Public Schools, Covenant House Washington, and New Endeavors by Women. (Pool photo)
Supposed to commemorate this?
Honestly, I dont get it.
The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.
Our voices need to be heard not only at Town Hall sessions or Tea Party demonstrations but in the very halls of Congress. We have to speak out to stop the desecration of September 11th.
NEVER FORGET
"Every 'moderate' Muslim is a potential terrorist. The belief in Islam is like a tank of gasoline. It looks innocuous, until it meets the fire. For a 'moderate' Muslim to become a murderous jihadist, all it takes is a spark of faith.
It is time to put an end to the charade of moderate Islam. There is no such thing as moderate Muslim. Muslims are either jihadists or dormant jihadists moderate, they are not."

NEVER FORGET
<"Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance."
Barack Hussein Obama
"It is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit"
Barack Hussein Obama
"We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better, including my own country."
Barack Hussein Obama
"The contribution of Muslims to the United States are too long to catalog because Muslims are so interwoven into the fabric of our communities and our country"
Barack Hussein Obama
"I have lived in a Muslim-majority country... I know, because I am one of them."
Barack Hussein Obama
"As a student of history, I also know civilization's debt to Islam."
Barack Hussein Obama
"Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality."
Barack Hussein Obama
"And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States."
Barack Hussein Obama
"And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear."
Barack Hussein Obama
"Moreover, freedom in America is indivisible from the freedom to practice one's religion. That is why there is a mosque in every state of our union, and over 1,200 mosques within our borders. That is why the U.S. government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab, and to punish those who would deny it."
Barack Hussein Obama.

Watch this moving video. It is the most viewed of any of the 9/11 videos and is now in the Smithsonian.
Be sure to read (at the site) Anatomy Of The Attack and the moving essay,That Day by Steve Golding, a New Yorker who lived through it.
The only correlation between these groups and 9/11 is the skinny communist in the photo and all those like him who think America “had it coming.”
When America is attacked, they use the attack to try make the American people subservient to the State and state-like authority, which many charities have become since they are more political than charitable.
Americans do not want to “serve” some special-interest group on the anniversary that we were attacked.
We want to celebrate our military for kicking the ass of our enemies and protecting us from a repeat attack.
And we want to re-hone the edge of our memory so that we do not let our guard down ever again. And that means not allowing this PC tripe to soften our resolve to defend ourselves.
am not familiar with posting pic's so you can try to find it yourself but she and Sasha's are in the same pic...
Is that split pea soup he’s dishing out?
“Eat your peas!”
Biden was very gracious in his manner of thanking Bush for his response to 9-11.
Obama probably would have criticized Bush instead.
Agreed. Packing food in a homeless shelter is a good metaphor for Barky's attitude toward 9/11. At least Biden knows when to show some respect.
Well put.
Now to clean up all the vermin smelling up the WH and get back to the greatness that America was before it was infested.
It looks like he’s wearing HAZMAT gloves.
It has nothing to do with it.
At the very least, it could’ve been “charity” for the victims’ relatives.
It’s a diversionary tactic to get us into communist thinking.
Ya know, it’s kinda funny how that looks like the massa’ overseeing his field hands.
he’s pushing his community service yet again.
The looney left and the Won fail to realize that a great portion of Americans give regular “days of service” through out the year.
I will not be diverted by these disrespectful creatures to water down the memory of 9/11. I’m sure most won’t.
(But it does make my head explode! lol)
It’s supposed to be a day of service idea to counter the terrorists. That’s the thinking.
I get the point, and I think even Bush tried to turn it into a day of service. But, I think 9/11 should just be a day of remembrance.

Last year’s post on the National Day of Remembrance and Servitude. Um service, sorry.
I agree, I think it was Van Jones’s idea to do this, to distract us from the reality of what happened and get us on the True Path of Volunteerism For the Country’s Sake.
I believe most Americans see right through Obama and his photo ops. Maybe his African-American base feels packing meals is a great way to remember 9/11, but most non-hyphenated Americans don’t. This kind of story only hurts Zero.
As for my service today, I went to the firing range and exercised my 2nd Amendment rights. I wonder if Zero ever did that. I bet he would look like a pussy if he did ... same as he does when he bowls or throws a baseball.
He sees that the rising unemployment will soon include him, and he needs to finally learn a trade.
To the bozo in the White House, I say that WE ARE AMERICANS, and we don't take any crap from anyone.
See you in hell, or out of office in 2012, whichever comes first.
Interesting. I had the exact same thought when I saw the phrase “curtain hanger”.
I seem to recall General Patton referring to Hitler as a “one armed paper hanger”, but that could just be my memory.
This is the same man who responded to 9/11 by blaming America in the mold of his pastor Rev. Wright. If only America were more caring and compassionate, it wouldn't have happened:
State Senator Barack Obama, September 19th 2001:Barack Obama and John McCain on 9/11: Statements then and now"Even as I hope for some measure of peace and comfort to the bereaved families, I must also hope that we as a nation draw some measure of wisdom from this tragedy. Certain immediate lessons are clear, and we must act upon those lessons decisively. We need to step up security at our airports. We must reexamine the effectiveness of our intelligence networks. And we must be resolute in identifying the perpetrators of these heinous acts and dismantling their organizations of destruction.
"We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.
"We will have to make sure, despite our rage, that any U.S. military action takes into account the lives of innocent civilians abroad. We will have to be unwavering in opposing bigotry or discrimination directed against neighbors and friends of Middle Eastern descent. Finally, we will have to devote far more attention to the monumental task of raising the hopes and prospects of embittered children across the globe-children not just in the Middle East, but also in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and within our own shores."
