FBI: Intelligence Community Debating Credibility of Terror Threat Published September 10, 2011 | FoxNews.com advertisement Federal authorities are beginning to question the credibility of a tip that Al Qaeda plans to launch an attack on Washington or New York during the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. But local law enforcement agencies in both cities that were at the heart of the attack a decade ago remain on high alert this weekend. Brenda Heck, an FBI special agent who is in charge of the Washington field office, told Fox News that there is a debate within the intelligence community over how credible the threat is. "That's a positive response to this, that you look at it from all sides," she said. "It doesn't affect our investigative response though, I'll tell you. We are marching forward as though this is credible and we're looking under every single rock as a result of that." Extra security is clearly visible on subways in both cities as officials are taking seriously a joint FBI, Homeland Security Intelligence Bulletin, first obtained by Fox News that states the timing and method of the potential terror plot.

Look at NYC. A rumor can cause them the spend millions of dollars. The open border policy permits terrorists to walk among us and we take no official action. Is the Federal Government nuts? Now the talk about monitoring trains and buses. Get the terrorists out of the country.
A terrorists is given legal rights while the civil rights of the ordinary US citizen are raped. Think phone surveillance, Internet surveillance. etc.

this has been true every year at this time since 9/11, and properly so!!
During husseins speech the other night, WH focus group polling was showing the speech to be a dud so they had to do something to divert atention away from the speech which is why the terror alerts went out right at the end of his speech.

As far as I can tell, they have no “active plot”. What they have is speculation that somebody who might be Arab might have plans to use some kind of explosive in NYC or Washington DC. According to the article the suspects’ names floated around so far have not panned out when actual specifics were checked out. In the first reports, it was stated outright that some intelligence analysts doubted the credibility of the threat because some of the claims were known to be factually incorrect.
Personally, I have a difficult time trusting the FBI after finding out - this week - that the FBI obstructed justice in the case of a murdered border patrol agent by hiding evidence, all to a further the political agenda of AG Holder and Obama.
The fact that this terror warning came right after a dismal speech by Obama and right before Fox broke the story of the FBI/Homeland Security’s criminal activity in the Fast & Furious cover-up doesn’t boost my confidence at all. Especially since from the outset there have been people within the intelligence agencies who seem to be smelling bullcrap on this alert - just like there were in Fast & Furious and the other cover-ups done by the criminal politicians in the DOJ and DHS.
I hate having an administration that lies and manipulates everything in order to do political damage control. We can’t believe a word they say, and that is a dangerous situation.
I'll tell you what is unusual. The hit counter on my FR profile page is set for unique hits. Since I rolled over the 10,000 hit mark last spring, I've been kind of tracking it just out of curiosity, and average about 5-6 new hits per day. I already have over 25 new hits today, so for some reason a lot of new folks are checking into and monitoring FR today. It’s interesting that they can’t decide whether this is supposed to be an Arabic terrorist type threat or a homegrown terrorist type threat. The article said that the names that have been floated so far don’t check out on specifics. I can’t remember whether it was this article or a different one, but somewhere I read that the names they have are so common they don’t provide any direction at all.
So it’s sort of like saying some Joe Smith who may or may not be a US citizen may or may not have come to the US and may or may not be thinking about using explosives in NYC and DC. Nothing can be confirmed and the few facts the informant gave are known to be false (based on the initial reports that came out). It’s unusual for the public to be alerted on such a generic claim and it will probably be debated whether they should have alerted the public, but still we’ll call it a “credible threat”.
Some article said that the big job is to try to find out who we’ve got in the country who might fit the description this “informant” gave. Good luck with that, since our southern door is wide open and anybody we catch who wandered in illegally we wink at, send free with our blessing, and put on gvernment assistance (see Aunt Zeituni and Uncle Omar...) We purposely keep them “undocumented” and in the country. Sort of stupid if you consider the terrorist threat to actually be serious...
But Obama and co only consider the terrorist threat to be serious (or “credible”) when it’s a blogger who has to be vaginally penetrated by a TSA agent 4 times before she can get on a plane.... or when Obama gives a rotten speech and they know that the next morning the FBI will be exposed as committing obstruction of justice to cover for Holder’s agenda of keeping our southern border wide open for druglords and Hezbollah agents to come in unfettered.
