Sarah McLachlan singing “In the Arms of the Angel.” Beautiful.
Before the piper played Amazing Grace, he played two verses of Faith of Our Fathers. His bagpipes seemed to die as he neared the end of the second verse of Amazing Grace, and as he walked away from the assembled people and ?microphones.
It was followed directly by Amazing Grace.
Totally agree.
Glad Bite Me gave him the credit he deserves.
Thank you for spreading the word for those attending Ground Zero tomorrow.
My sweetheart and I have been watching the Flight 93 Memorial Ceremony which as I write is still taking place.
I have nothing but praise for all who spoke and gave their heartfelt thanks to honor the heroes on Flight 93 and to lend comfort to their families. God Bless them all, and may God continue to bless America.
She started me crying.
AMEN!, JLAGRAYFOX
I just noticed that when the colors went by, Pres. Bush and Laura had their hands over their hearts, Clinton was looking in the opposite direction, and Biden didn’t have his hand over his heart. Can we now call democrats unpatriotic? Or just ignorant of proper protocol.
Clinton seemed to have enjoyed a liquid lunch...or is just me?
I still think we should have nuked the MidEast on 09/12/01....They slaughtered innocent people and hate us....Big disappointment with Bush and Cheney.....I think Reagan would have launched WWIII if he was in office....We are in trouble....
Closing with a benediction...such as we will not hear at tomorrow’s memorial.
Did Biden give President Bush credit? I turned it off before he got up (Clinton was making me nauseated, albeit not nearly as much so as Obama does), but I recorded it, and just may listen if Biden said some nice things about a real President.
Yes, he did - he said Pres. Bush held our country together after the attacks. It was nicely done, which I hate to say about anything Bite Me does.

Impossible...They both hate this country and it shows in everything they do.
They’ll be there in solidarity with the heathen traitor BloomingAsshole, and to set eyes upon (perhaps even mentuion), the site of the beginning of war in America ... that camel palace proposed.
Turn your tv back on. W is doing the rope line.
I guess Biden actually is an American, though, so maybe he 'gets it' about a few things.
Yes it was beautiful....the photos too.
