I always thought he was good at the beginning.
Excellent statement by General Franks.
The former attitude is always cited by the Left re: the military as justification to reduce involvement in “unnecessary” conflicts, when they really couldn’t give a fig about our soldiers and are just looking to redirect defense funds to their pet programs.
The latter as expressed by Gen. Franks is very spot-on...
I agree entirely with his opinion that these were the first to fight back and heroes all!

I visited the Tommy Franks museum in HOBART OK last year. It is well worth the trip!
Ther is one room dedicated to 9-11 and they have a large TV screen with a loop of all that happened that day. If nothing makes your blood boil again, THAT WILL! You will realize all over wht the WAR ON TERRORISM is all about, and how it is still not over with all the 5th columnists in our midst.
