I will never forget.
Well, I’m not going to read the whole piece, because I’m still trying to maintain my Brit paper blackout since I got a virus from one.
So, I can’t judge the article, but I appreciate the mention.
This is the aspect of the attack that is the most gruesome and frightening to me. I’ve been thinking about it for days and I think it’s why I too am trying to avoid the coverage.
However, I don’t think it is America that wants to forget, I think it is our media that wants us to forget, our media in their eternal roles as shills and propagandists for the left and all other America haters such as jihadis.
We do well to rely on God to choose who will be saved, and who will not.
This is what happens when ignorant people who ‘claim’ to be religious .. preach false truths!
Nowhere in the bible is it said that suicide is an unforgivable sin!
That is reserved for the sin of ‘Blasphemy’ only!
Not sure it is pointed out in the article here, but the first figherfighter killed at Ground Zero died when a victim jumped from 80+ floors above and landed on him.
It’s in the 9/11 Commission report. One very haunting sentence.
I don't understand how anyone could just turn their back on family because they jumped. These poor people were going to die one way or another. Maybe some didn't think - they just reacted. Maybe some made a clear choice that they were not going to die on the terrorist's terms. No matter what the reason these people were just as much a victim as those who went down with the towers.

It’s one of the darkest moments in our history no one wants to contemplate. But forgotten? No way in hell. We will never forget.
They, and all the rest who died that day, shall remain in my thoughts, and in my prayers, as long as I shall live. I pray for the day we nuke all them SOBs in Mecca. So they, nor any of their ilk, can ever repeat this again.
Get these slime out of our nation. No good can come from them being here. All they want is to rule this nation.
I never even thought that someone would be ashamed of someone that was forced to jump from those towers. I’m not ashamed of those people. I don’t want them forgotten. I’m of the opinion that it is dishonorable to the memory of someone to hide your head or forget how they died—no matter how horrific. These people didn’t do anything wrong. Their memories don’t have to be shamed. I don’t care if they fell, were forced to jump, or chose to jump—they should all be honored as human beings in an unfathomably desperate situation. I’ll never forget them.
The very thought of the jumpers makes me weep. What courage. I don’t want to forget them. I never will. Stupid, arrogant liberals like Bloomberg want them forgotten.
So angry after reading this...I posted a comment on the mail site, but they are ‘previewing’ comments so I doubt it will be posted. This is the most anti-christian piece of crap I have ever read in my life. I am a bible believing Christian, and the thought has never ever crossed my mind that these people ‘sinned’ when they jumped. They were murdered plain and simple. It was my understanding the pictures aren’t often published because they make Americans so angry. This is a horrid, horrid attempt to pass judgement on that which they wish would go away — Christians!!!
I never heard about the Merrill Lynch guys watching the people literally tumble out of the tower opposite. Beyond awful.
