President Barack Obama asked lawmakers to “pass this bill” — or made some variation of the phrase — 17 times in his jobs speech before a joint session of Congress on Thursday night.
Obama unveiled his $447 billion jobs package, the American Jobs Act, during the speech.

Translation (with Obama in Ronald Reagan/Berlin Wall mode): “Congress, Pass This Bill! Which I will send you one of these days! And will at some point figure out how to pay for!”

I love how democRats name their bills. ), lets pass the "Truth in Naming Acts- Act"! Wouldn't that be a frickin hoot? How does the "We Nationalized the American Health Care System Act sound? I was listening to the speech on am radio driving home from work. The radio host would play little sarcastic sound bites every time Obama paused between sentences.
The first time Obama said “Pass this bill!” the radio host played the sound track from Monte Python and The Holy Grail...”RUN FOR YOUR LIVES, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES”....
It was classic...LOL!
