LOL! CorruptionBoy's pals are going down...
hope so.
What are they looking for? Are we sure Zero didn’t send the agents there, in retribution for something?
Alrighty then...
FYI..HOT AIR has a report that in addition to the US loan being very fast tracked, Solyndra interest rate was much, much lower than othe companies were charged...a very “sweetheart” deal..to be sure..
Ho, ho, ho....... this is rich. The FBI is doing the due diligence after the horses fled the barn.
it’s the chicago way, baby
Bingo! The Feds are there to “uncover” corruption/deceipt/embezzlement/etc because a good ol’ honest bankruptcy is fatal anathema to the Obama “green jobs will save the American economy” meme. So, Solyndra is not “too big to fail”, it’s too ideologically important to fail on its own merits becuase, if so, it gives lie to the entire Obama/left worldview; there has to be some other reason why this sure-bet, 1/2B$$ investment of taxpayer funds was flushed down the toilet.

Federal agents are executing a search warrant this morning at the Solyndra in Fremont, according to a FBI spokeswoman.
It is part of a joint operation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Energy’ Office of Inspector General, according to Julianne Sohn, a spokeswoman for the FBI.
The action by federal agents comes a week after the solar panel manufacturer abruptly closed, laying off 1,100 workers.
Sohn would not comment on the purpose of the search or what they might be looking for.
“Everything is under seal,” she said.

there should be an evaluation of where all public monies went during the obama administration.
and then trials, and jail if necessary.
FBI task list:
“Grab ALL hard drives ASAP....”
“Set plant to self-destruct....”
My guess is they want to throw a big “can’t reveal that, it’s under investigation” blanket over anything that could make the White House look bad, at least until after Nov. 2012.
If it’s “under investigation”, they can hold back evidence from Congressional committees.
What? Holder has lost control of the FBI?

I wonder if Sandy Berger visited Solyndra yesterday.

The $535 million loan to Solyndra Inc., issued by the U.S. Department of Treasurys Federal Financing Bank, included a quarterly interest rate of 1.025 percent, the government bank reported in July. Of 18 Energy Department loans cited in the banks report, Solyndras rate was lowest. Eight other Energy Department projects, each also backed by the Federal Financing Bank, came with rates three or four times higher, the report shows.
