PMSNBC lowered the bar to 4% for this debate just so they could get Huntsman.
LOL!!!
Nah, it will be discussed because it will be part of Thursday’s news cycle.
Tomorrow’s coverage will overwhelmingly be about how bad Obama’s speech was earlier in the evening.
Interesting thoughts about Cain...I haven’t made up my mind about him yet, but I sure know I’d choose him over Perry or Mitt! :)
[ Im a cervical cancer survivor. I dont want ANY government agent telling me what I must or must not do when it comes to my health. PERIOD. I dont care how wonderful they think a vaccination is - medical care decisions belong between a doctor and a patient and should NOT involve the government in any way, shape, or form. ]
Herman Cain is a cancer survivor too, I would have liked to hear his response, stupid MSNBC.
I think you have a pretty good take on the various performances. Santorum was among the weaker group.
My thoughts on Cain as well. But as long as he's still in, I'm going to support him and not concede that he can't get the nomination. I don't want to be a self-fulfilling prophesy.
As well they should. Let us see if Perry can survive being unfairly attacked for months on end so we can learn if he is "damaged goods" or not. It'll do him good to have the media heaping scorn and ridicule on him. SNL should get into the act as well. Oh and Jon Stewart, too. We need to find out just how tough his supporters really are.
And he consistently says that he will make government as inconsequential to Americans lives as he is able to make it. I like that! I want to hear someone say that, because that is precisely what we want and need in a president. Keep the government off our backs, and get out of our way.
I love being free and responsible.
As for Ricardo being good on the death penalty -- with his 'vision of open borders' he had better be.
Yep, me too. The other thing that creeps me out is how quickly the media has embraced him as the one who will win the nomination... It very eerily reminds me of McCain - whom I thought had NO CHANCE of getting the nomination after his support of LaRaza. I have a feeling that our candidate has already been picked — unless of course Sarah steps in... Then, IMHO, all bets are off and even their best-laid plans may be for naught! I’m seriously wondering whether Sarah is going to bypass all the problems with the GOP and declare as an independent...
I guess that you didn’t hear Perry’s reply that anyone could opt out.
Agreed.
You have been trash talking Perry from the start.
No one falls the for the concerned act !
[ I do, too. Newt knows how to refocus the debate, and hes not shy about it. He schooled the Telemundo guy on exactly what Reagans position was re amnesty. He really rises to the occasion for these debates. (I know hes a RINO.) ]
I would make Newt the WH spokesdroid.
He would be far better than Carnival Barker Carnie.
Lol. Oh, yeah, Governor. How did you amass a heap of accomplishments and top level government positions ? Luck and floating through life. There is obviously something un-anchored about advocating for many of the same policies that took Utah to number one in the nation in job creation. Actually I can’t imagine actually anymore MORE focused on the need for serious, pragmatic, long-term solutions than Jon Huntsman.
We're on a short vacation on the Maine coast and our hotel - which has a very impressive list of TV channels - does not have MSNBC (LOL). Fortunately we we have a good WiFi connection so we were able to watch the entire debate online.
I didn't think Perry came across as strong and prepared as I expected, but my husband thought he did fine. I liked Newt's responses the best in tonight's debate, although I still think he has too much baggage to be elected President.
Fact is he just doesn’t love us. We talk funny, etc.! I’m off here for the night. Talk soon!
What is wrong, by the way, with being a "fanatical family values freak"?
