I guess that makes me a Scientologist, because I’ve posted repeatedly that Palin holds a special position because there is no one — not even George W. Bush — who has been the subject of the Democratic, mainstream media and left-blogosphere smear machine to the extent Palin has.
So yes, I do take it personally when conservatives lash out at Palin not because of her policy positions or what she’s done or not done in her career, but with personal invective.
It’s not religion, its a cold hard understanding of what is to come, and how those who call Palin a diva or a tease or any of the other names coming from media conservatives do damage to us all. Palin is simply the test case for how the Republican nominee, whoever that person may be, will be treated, and we pile on her at our own peril.

And yet many Palin supporters will atack other conservative candidates and their supporters with as much bile and vitriol as was ever directed at Sarah. How does that make sense? To come onto a thread where no one is even TALKING about Sarah, just to trash an opposing candidate, using innuendo, half truths, facts and quotes pulled out of context - all of the methods the left loves to use.
This has all the appearances of their version of the Battle of The Bulge, and I, for one, am committed to holding Bastogne.

As a strong Palin supporter, I have posted on a number of threads that I will gladly publicly post a vanity admitting I was wrong of Palin does not run. No one opposing my view will match the offer. Can’t be too sure of themselves not can they?
Yes, it is truly sad that there are those EVEN ON THIS SITE who KNOW that Gov. Did you read the next two sentences? There he not too subtly implies that any one who criticizes her delay in announcing is calling her a “diva” or a “tease.” Worse, the next sentence implies that any critical comments of her are attacks on Conservatives and the eventual nominee.

If the Yankees announce a game in 2012 and TELL US no specific date, does that mean I know the date they will play? No, it means I know they will play sometime in 2012 because they said they would. I just don’t know when EXACTLY.
I have given $100.00 to FR at each and every FReepathon since I joined... and for the last three... it has been $100.00 followed by another $50.00 due to some FReepers either not having money to give or being so selfish as to live off of the donations of others. I will give on October 1 as I always do... but monetary support cannot and will not fix the problems that we see on this site today. Well, I don’t do that. I come on these threads to defend Sarah Palin. As far as I’m concerned, all the other candidates are also-rans. They don’t matter.
In it he explains how the new Palin meme started, how the MSM ran with it, and how it's become the normal MSM method for taking down any effective conservative. It was a powerful piece, and will help to explain why he is making that jump.
It was so powerful that Rush Limbaugh read it on the air for his opening monologue the next day.
He's not saying it's "any" critical comments, it's the personal invective and the cattiness of the examples in his article.
