Via Breitbart TV, this is Labor Day the way it should be — with a guy named Hoffa threatening his political enemies while a union-stooge Democratic leader sits by and smiles. Honestly, I can’t decide how seriously to take him. On the one hand, this sort of salty tough-guy “we don’t take sh*t from no one” garbage is par for the course for labor leaders when addressing the rank and file, and all the more so when it’s the head of the Teamsters speaking. Sure, he makes $300,000 a year on the backs of his working-class constituents, but he knows conservatives are sons of bitches so his “authenticity” is secure. Plus he’s a Hoffa; this sort of rhetoric may be congenital. On the other hand, so filthy was the the left’s demagoguery of the right’s “tone” after the Giffords shooting that this sort of verbal excess by one of their own will never, ever be allowed to pass again without their faces being ground in it. So here you go. Start grinding, please.
A Twitter pal argued that this could have been a “Sistah Souljah moment” for Obama if he had challenged Hoffa on what he said. Interesting point, but I think O had other priorities today — like, for instance, noting how “proud” he is of Hoffa and other union leaders. Oh, and also questioning the patriotism of congressional Republicans who might object to his new jobs plan. That’s the second clip below, which doubles as a sneak preview of Thursday night. How rude it was of Boehner in hindsight to ask Obama to wait a day before accusing them of not caring about America on national television. Happy Labor Day, everyone.

It’s the only way out for the left now. Obama CANNOT or will not stop the economic spiral. If he give a Carteresq, impotent pollyanna nonesense speech tomorrow he and his idiot party are toast. This is all that’s left to them; ginning up trouble and cracking down. There is no other way.

I know war has been declared on the American people, but the good news is that this is the begining of the end of the Obama era when he has to grasp at straws for support in a once great American city that has been brought down by the too powerful unions with the help of the Democrats.

I am waiting for the outrage from the lamestream media. They soiled their collective undergarments about the map cross-hairs in the wake of the Gifford shooting, so they should be all over these outrageous statements. Good thing I’m not holding my breath.
Yes - I'm pretty sure most of Freerepublic understands that - but it's not like we can just get up a posse and "take out" some union thugs tonight.
I’m not a tea party member, I just don’t trust populist movements; but I’m not gonna sit around and watch some of my neighbors get disenfranchised of their rights, threatened with violence and murder, and have their property which they worked for destroyed.
Maybe a moot point in font of prosperity, Oregon, because as Stalin observed its really more important who counts the votes. (Long story about how we vote here)
These union leadership/leftist people are just out of control, and its been going on for decades. While I don’t want to see a fight, when is enough enough?
1- When a close race is decided yet again by Boies & co. and a “found” couple of boxes “missed ballots” in a trunk of a car. You all know the party that benefits. Will the next time be enough?
2- When another set of laws that deprives of our pursuit of happiness, that is ability to prosper by our own labor, and is blindly passed congress. “We have to pass it to know whats in it.” — One of the most irresponsible and mind numbing stupid utterances I have ever heard. Is it enough then?
3-We collectively have to do without, pick you sacrifice, so we can give our hard worked for money any number of international goons, so they can get yet another limo. Enough?
4-If you pick anything up from this rant, it should be this, only Marxists speak in terms of false choice and false consciousness, this administration used these phrases quite a few times. Never forget, Marxists murder, its their religion.
5-I’m not gonna start anything, especially a fight, but I WILL NOT capitulate to my own loss of liberty anymore. These animals are asking for a war; and I pray to God it does not come to it, but they better not regret if they get what they ask for.
Sorry, tried to be constructive, mindful that there’s allot of work to be done on the ground before and during election time, but most importantly I tried not give ammo to the enemy.

My experience with unions is that genuine ‘tough guys/thugs’ are few and far between. The vast majority are wannabees that act as they do thinking/being told that the union will provide bail/lawyers/court costs etc if they are arrested. Take that away and they return to the meek sheep that they really are.
None of that ilk are ready to go to the mattresses. Nail a couple with “serious charges”, make them stick and the rest will reconsider those ‘union benefits.’ They are cowards. If it comes to violence, bust a couple up —brutally— during the violence they instigate and they will stop...fast. Very few of them...very many of us AND NO ONE SAW NUTHIN!!! ;)
