LIVE THREAD for Sarah Palin's speech at the Tea Party Express rally in Manchester, NH. She is expected to make brief remarks at noon.
Yeah, about as soft spoken as a five alarm fire...
I agree. Herman Cain is also “not for sale”.
I’d take a Palin-Cain ticket.
I wonder if Palin already has a VP picked out, and I suspect she does. It might be someone from the TEA Party grassroots, someone like my new awesome Senator from WI Ron Johnson.
Palin-Ron Johnson. He’s also “not for sale”.
From what I understand, FNS isn’t covering the DeMint debate in SC, either. That’s equally newsworthy. I imagine FNS will cover summaries of all today’s events as news stories; they will be discussed ad nauseum by the pundits. Fox doesn’t have to cover the entire event(s).
Right now, as a news editor, the wildfires in TX or evacuation of thousands from NOLA would be more immediate ‘news’ than any given ‘12 election coverage. It’s a long, long slog to 11/12.
:-) Thanks.
I’ll be flipping through all the LSM channels local and satellite to see them all faint or explode or spontaneously combust when they have to say...
“President Elect Sarah Palin” and then “President Palin”.
Palin45, the cure for crony corportate capitalism.
I have Sept.17th marked on my calandar.
I hope she picks Constitution Day.
And I bet she remembers to include her friends at that AK radio station in her big day too.
I am using a MOXI DVD and that channel is locked out, couldn’t watch it if I wanted to. Well not really, but it would be a lot of trouble, MOXI doesn’t have the easiest software to use. For that matter none of the DVR software is easy enough to use.
If anyone has ever used ElGato’s EyeTV software, then you know what easy is. Wish someone would buy them or at least license their software. I have Charter currently and if you unplug one of their boxes even for a minute it could take a couple days for their schedule to update, and they provide up to 50 MGB broadband service.
Hey, I just showed my hubby the FR story from yesterday when our Sarah ran 13 miles for fun and came in second.
He was impressed. Speechless I’d say!
: )
I MISSED IT!!! GEEZ! Had to be out and just got back. I assume she did well. Need to catch it later!

Hawkeye Granite

Just wrapping up an awesome four day trip to the Hawkeye and Granite States. Visiting with residents there its easy to see why they play such an important role in vetting Americas leaders. Todd and I were able to interact directly with informed Americans and hear their concerns first hand outside the media spin.
Yesterday morning I joined the Jump Right in and Run half marathon in Storm Lake, Iowa and last night in Manchester, New Hampshire we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Puritan Back Room. The local folks we met with were wonderfully nice and true American patriots. Their concerns were common - the massive burden of government on small businesses, the abysmal economic and employment rate and their strong desire to restore America.
These good folks are tired of politics as usual; Tired of being spoon-fed by packaged politicos and tired of the twisted sound bites and 30-second ads. They want solutions and they deserve strong, honest leadership.
Thank you to the citizens of Iowa and New Hampshire for your hospitality, your thoughtful questions and picking up where the media left off in vetting and challenging us all on our vision for Americas future.
Have a safe and happy Labor Day. We will see you again soon.
I missed it by half an hour!
Oh noes!
Reading all the comments here has helped.
: )
re: “@DLoesch
Dana Loesch Opening speaker before Obama threatens tea party voters, says labor is going to take these sons of b*tches out.
You don’t say..... That guy just threatened the vast majority of Americans, and further cemented Obama’s position on the wrong side.”
and BHO praised him!
Blatent.
Domestic enemies??????
Thank you!
Palin 2012
NOT FOR SALE
Very good point, and it underscores why Palin remains so popular with mainstream Americans. She simply says what most of us have been thinking for decades. As has been said many times, "she is one of us".
Some people might discount that by calling it simple populism, but in Palin's case, she strikes right to the very core of the root agreements this nation was founded upon. Like Reagan before her, she begins at our Founding Ideals, and works her way back to the problem from there.
For her, the answers to this nation's myriad problems all lie within our basic American principles - not some confounded and convoluted theory out of Big Academia or a government think tank.
She pointed back to our nation's founding and history many times during her Indianola speech. This is where she draws her strength and insight, as should we all, for this country was built upon timeless ideals and truth. Putting those ideals into our Founding Charter, and into practice is what made this the most prosperous, the strongest, most successful nation in world history.
It's a return to those ideals that Americans are demanding, as is Sarah Palin. She see this yearning as clear as day. I don't know that her opponents in the political arena see it as she does. I suspect that many see only polls, and shift their rhetoric to take advantage of what they think is the flavor of the season. Perhaps some see it better, but none articulate the clarity of vision as well as Palin does.
I sense that she experiences what she's articulating, right down to the core of her being, and I trust that. It's why I'll do everything in my power to help this remarkable patriot get into the White House.
Thanks for posting the link for replay.

TRANSCRIPT of Palin’s New Hampshire speech, Sept 5, 2011
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1109/05/cnr.04.html
Page down to the following sentence:
(BEGIN LIVE COVERAGE)
SARAH PALIN (R), FMR. ALASKA GOVERNOR: Hello New Hampshire! It’s so good to be here. I am absolutely honored to get to be with you.
Dunno. I don't talk politics with Dems, and I don't follow their press. It's my guess that they're all behind Obama for the most part. They're not going to support Perry because he's their Governor. He's been a thorn in their side for ten years already - beating every opponent they put up against him in every race.
Have they attempted to blame him Katrina-style for inactivity on the fires this year?
Again, I don't pay any attention to them, so I have no idea what, if anything, they're saying about him. Maybe another Texas Freeper is more tuned in to what they're thinking and saying.
Damn. I hope they didn't experience any loss from the fire, but at least they're safe.
Yea but she ain’t running so none of that well thought out and totally accurate post matters...
/PDS ;)
