Perry will win and win big. Palin is already old news. If she does enter, she will lose rapidly like Thompson did. The only threat will be that she will split the base similar to what happened in 2008 and leave the door open for Romney.

For one, she does not have the financial backing like Perry does. She will have to spend much of her new found income, which will quickly dry up. This surely explains why she has not yet entered the race. Something is missing, and does not add up. Her internal polling is also seriously lacking. The RCP averages clearly illustrate what is happening to her so called “overwhelming popularity”. (Not really)

If she enters, then we’ll know how she will do. Until then it’s speculation. Why couldn’t she shoot to the top, like Perry did?
