(Portland, Oregon) Mayor Sam Adams decried the gun violence that broke out again in Portland Friday night after the Jefferson High School football game and said Portland police are "out in full strength" to prevent any tit-for-tat shootings.
Six teenagers were wounded in the area of North Albina Avenue and Jessup Street around 11:20 p.m. The mother of one of the wounded youths said her son had been released from the hospital today, but the other five teens were still being treated.
"To be very blunt, illegal guns have swamped the city," Adams said Saturday morning after being updated by police on the latest incident. He said it was too early to say whether Friday night's shooting was part of the violent grudge matches between rival sets of African American gangs which have claimed at least seven lives this year.

One witness said the victims were teens who had attended the Jefferson High School football game earlier in the evening.
Witnesses told police the suspects ran from the area after the shooting.
Police suspect the incident, which happened about 11:20 p.m., is gang-related.
But how is this possible in a State and City that have been Uber-Liberal Meccas for Decades??
How is it that electing a teenage chasing homosexual Mayor has not been the answer to preventing all of these kinds of problems??
How has all of Portland's "investment" in Light Rail not prevented all of this??
I suppose that the Millions Portland City Council is about to invest in its "Office of Equity" will fix everything.....
