Most people aren't going to buy it, and it seems like a last-chance attempt by Palin to re-invent herself.
If she runs, I'll be shocked, because she won't even win the GOP nomination. Being a two-time loser, and a quitter, at that point will start to end her $100k gravy train of speaking engagements. I do think that it's fabulous that she is making money on her name, though. That's capitalisim at its best, and I hope she becomes a billionaire who can start funding more qualified candidates of her choice.
Yes, she lost as the VP nominee in 2008 (mostly due to Team McCain and Obamamania) but what other loss has she experienced?
Carling, it’s pretty obvious that you simply have an irrational dislike for Palin, and you’re never going to honestly weigh her positive attributes and accomplishments against what you perceive to be her deal-breakers.
Like every other Palin detractor around here, you magnify her alleged ‘sins’, and discount every good and decent thing about her. You totally ignore her many rare and admirable traits, because of a few demerits which pale in comparison to the rest of her excellent contributions as a public servant.
Not only that, you refuse to accept any logic or reason offered to you, concerning your disagreements with her. It’s as though you would suffer personal pain or anguish if you were to follow that logic and reasoning to its inescapable conclusion....she’s not what you claim she is.
So be it. Be right. Cling to that rightness and treasure it always. Just remember to stay far back from reality, or it will burst that precious bubble of yours.
