I think it is a key. There are a few “designer” jewelery lines that are hot on the key motif now.

I have a fabulous flag pin like Sarah’s. I plan on wearing it a lot very very soon....

Cheers!

Rush sent cases of his tea?

And the not so covert message there is? Rush developing a Tea-drink business and sending it to a TEA party event (where Sarah Palin is speaking)

I don’t know. I hope it is that he wants states to decide everything no matter what the issue.

Yes, so many don’t understand KISS. She laid out her governing philosophy [yet again] and specific solutions to the problems.

NolteNC John Nolte at BigGovernment does:
Isn’t Palin stating the corrupt political class on both sides of the aisle has to go a, uhm, big announcement? A defining speech, imo.
She scares everybody who’s lost faith in simple approaches.

I must say, the second time I watched the speech, when C-SPAN did the re-run, I liked the speech even more.

I stuck around for Sarah’s meeting the crowd and was very impressed with her endurance in dealing with so many wanting so much from her.

ALL: THERE IS A WEEKLY PALIN PRAYER THREAD

Just search FR for “Palin Prayer Thread”. If you
like it, you can be added to the ping list by the
host of the thread CondoleezzaProtege.

Pray for Sarah as she faces evil.

LOL Excellent points

That speech was flawless. If a person heard nothing else of it, from 39 minutes on was the most inspiring, most heartfelt, most passionate case for America I’ve ever heard.

The difference between a Democrat and a Conservative is that we have an optimism and love of country that liberals will NEVER have and NEVER understand.

Even while pointing out all that is wrong with America as she stands right now, there is an eternal faith that we will prevail. Reagan had the faith. Sarah keeps the faith.

Me, too. I thought she was leaving and turned it off. Sorry I missed the crowd stuff... know it was heartwarming. I’m changing my tag line to Palin/anybody.

I think Ron Johnson would be excellent VP material for Sarah. They speak the same language.

Whatever that event was, it has some gall applying the name Tea Party to itself.

There’s one thing I’ve seen at every Tea Party event - it was so common that you couldn’t help but see it. And there was not a one of it there at that event.

People got a big surprise coming if they think they can cloak neoconservatism in a Tea Party hat and really believe that the people who rose up at the polls with righteous vengeance in 2009 and 2010 are going to fall for this act.

Wonder if it would be possible to burn a DVD from a computer.

Yes, it is, but I suspect your question has already been answered (I had to run out on business for a few hours).

Distribution on a large scale, though, is another story. The content likely belongs to C-SPAN or whoever recorded the event, and possibly the event organizing group.

The entire speech is now on YouTube and lots of other places, so anyone with a computer just has to click the link and watch it. Even easier than sliding in a DVD, really.
