The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that only 11% favor a proposal for the federal government to provide every single American with a basic income grant, or enough money to enjoy a modest living regardless of whether they choose to work or not. Eighty-two percent (82%) oppose this idea. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

This 11% represents the core of the fringe of the Left. They are diehard communists. It is still alarming that 10% of this country feels this way.

This 11% should be identified and sent to a remote island somewhere to pursue their dream.

enough money to enjoy a modest living regardless of whether they choose to work or not
This must also be the bottom 11% of Americans in terms of IQ. Because anyone would half a brain would realize that if you gave people the "choice" of whether to work or not, a majority would opt out, and the entire economy would come to a standstill.
But then, you could also argue, that close to half the population has already "opted out," given the 43% of Americans who do not pay Federal Income Tax.

In other words, 11 percent of Americans are now hard-core Commie bastards and must be destroyed or marginalized.

It is still alarming that 10% of this country feels this way And even more alarming that only 82% oppose it.
That means (apparently) there are 8% who are undecided!
How can there be an "undecided" on this?

“Modest living” is very subjective. In North Korea, most people there enjoy a “modest living” by government standards.

Wow!! This is encouraging I thought it would be much worse. Obama is so “History” in 2012.

Might I suggest Iwo Jimo or the Aleutian Islands. Or how about King William Island. I hear it is lovely this time of year.
