not true. She has a lot of support...from some of the more quiet people who never get polled.
I hang up on pollsters...
The people who support her tend to be extremely supportive. Just like Ron Paul's people tend to be extremely supportive of their guy. What we need to see is whether she gets enough support from a sufficiently large number of Republicans to win the primary, or whether she turns out to be the Ron Paul of the Tea Party movement.

I don’t think you are more likely to be polled if you stand in the street, shout and wave your hands.
I think the numbers are probably not far off. Note they move this way shortly after R’s believe they have (1) A not Romney, who can (2) Beat Zero, and who has (3) Experience running a state.
Conservative R’s, who are generally savvier politically, realize that a second attractive conservative candidate with high negatives makes it more likely Romney will win the nomination. So I’m not surprised with the numbers.
I need to get to know Perry better. But at this moment I would be delighted with either Perry or Palin our candidate. On a can-win criterion, I think Palin has a much steeper hill to climb than Perry against Zero. But we will know more about that in three months.
