I thought the television series she hosted was about Alaska and was done in a documentary/educational format.

That 1/2 term gov/reality tv star, as you put it drew a larger TV audience during her VP nominee convention speech than either Presidential candidate. When in history has that ever happen or ever will again? She has a drawing power like never seen in modern American politics. Allot of powerful people have gone to the political graveyard by underestimating Sarah Palin.
