Both are anti-immigration

Did you see this ? This is one enormous reason Perry is absolutely unacceptable for the Presidency.

The latest name they’ve called me is “extremist.”

LOL...

It just gets funnier and funnier.

I’ll proudly accept the label as being part of the “anti-Perry cabal”, even though I am too obviously unimportant to be included in that particular rant.

Perry has been persona non grata around here since at least when I punched my FReeper card back in 2006, which is why it surprised me so much to see his candidacy being pushed by certain FReepers. I thought that maybe I had misjudged, and took the time to really dig into his record and form a fresh opinion. The more I dug, the worse the stench got. I consider him very nearly as unworthy as either Romney or Obama to hold the office of POTUS. Your mileage may vary.

Heh? They accused you of being a Pat Buchanan fan now? Well, gotta give the Perrybots credit for trying something new. Maybe the silly "everyone who dislikes Perry is a Ron Paul supporter" conspircy was running out of steam, especially since the Ron Paul trolls get banned here pretty quickly.

I wonder if they'll ever grow tired of these tactics:

- He's the only electable candidate because we say so.

- He's much more conservative and nothing like George W. Bush, because we say so.

- Sarah Palin endorsed him for Governor over a couple of turds, therefore he's the ideal candidate for President and the second coming of Ronald Reagan

- Ronald Reagan was a Democrat, too! (as if The Gipper was campaign manager for a notorious socialist RAT a year before joining the GOP)

- You're a PURIST and want PERFECTION because you won't support our guy!

Well, look at that. You don’t have to say anything specifically about CowboyJay for him to start attacking you. All you have to do is dare to imply that we should warn the public against those unholy ninnies whose positive accomplishments are always practically nil but whose conceit can scarcely be excelled.

Although chimpanzees can be convinced to wear clothing, understand commands, and even ride bicycles (if well paid for their services in bananas), it would be virtually impossible to convince CowboyJay that I really feel that he has insulted everyone with even the slightest moral commitment. CowboyJay obviously has none or he wouldn’t woo over huffy ninnies by using tactics such as scapegoating, reductionist and simplistic solutions, demagoguery, and a conspiracy theory of history. CowboyJay’s most phlegmatic tactic is to fabricate a phony war between dishonest buggers and semi-intelligible, mingy louts. This way, he can subjugate both groups into helping him concoct a version of reality that fully contradicts real life. “CowboyJay” has now become part of my vocabulary. Whenever I see someone spouting personal and political conspiracy theories, I tell him or her to stop “CowboyJay-ing”. And I just have a feeling, an intuition, based on several things that are happening now that CowboyJay will endorse a complete system of leadership by mobocracy by next weekend. And given how one oleaginous activity always leads to another, it should come as no surprise that CowboyJay keeps implying that mediocrity is a worthwhile goal. For some reason, CowboyJay’s dupes actually believe this nonsense. And there you have it. CowboyJay uses deception to trick people into voting against things that they in fact support. I can say one thing about CowboyJay. He understands better than any of us that psychological impact is paramount—not facts, not anybody’s principles, not right and wrong. I’m not suggesting that we behave likewise. I’m suggesting only that CowboyJay likes to posture as a guardian of virtue and manners. However, when it comes right down to it, what he is pushing is both censorious and obscene.

CowboyJay is totally raving, as he has proved to my complete satisfaction. How can he live with himself, knowing that he is a bad egg? You see, it is not news that he has an ideological axe to grind. His reasoning is that the purpose of life is self-gratification. Yes, I realize that that argument makes no sense, but the first thing we need to do is to get CowboyJay to admit that he has a problem. He should be counseled to recite the following:

*I, CowboyJay, am an immoral, biased scalawag.
*I have been a participant in a giant scheme to numb the public to the prætorianism and injustice in mainstream politics.
*I hereby admit my addiction to Bulverism. I ask for the strength and wisdom to fight this addiction.

Once CowboyJay realizes that he has a problem, maybe then he’ll see that the last time I heard him ramble on in his characteristically bibulous blather he implied something about wanting to impugn the patriotism of his critics. I feel sorry for the human race when I hear stuff like that.

You seemed little disappointed that you were left out of the earlier post. Happy to make amends. ;-p

BTW, Congratulations on not losing your side of our bet. Looks like Michele is fading fast so there’s no way she’ll get the nomination and lose to Obama in the general.

Also BTW, check out post #50 if you haven’t seen it.

CowboyJay said nothing about you.

It is YOU who are vicious and do not belong on FR.
(eg. posts 46, 66)

Unable to focus on the issues, you exist only
to attack FReepers using Alinsky tactics.

You are sooooooo reminiscent of the MOST vicious RomneyBOTs.

You falsely accuse someone of being some sort of bot, accuse me of not addressing the issue. My post was about the issue, the post to me were the same personal attacks against me are someone not addressed in the thread. You post is an excellent example.

I think I need to step in and clear things up. My post #46 is a joke(and so is #66). I created it using this website: http://www.pakin.org/complaint/

I indicated that in post #50.

Now there’s confusion about who is posting to whom. And that’s stirring things up even more. Now I just ask everyone to “lighten up.”

Those who, for the sake of ivory tower academic purity in their choice of candidate, knowingly vote for a candidate who cannot rationally defeat Obama in the general election, and this includes both Bachmann and Palin (this time around, in 2016 or 2020, who knows), might as well be voting for Obama, because if a candidate such as Bachmann or Palin is the GOP’s nominee, we will have a second Obama term.

A vote for Perry might, or might not, get rid of Obama; a vote for Bachmann or Palin will guarantee that Obama remains in the White House for a second term. I don’t think the country can afford that, so I don’t think that the country can afford for the GOP to nominate Bachmann or Palin (or Cain, or ....).

I’d vote for Bachmann with no tinge of remorse whatsoever (though like other pubbie presidents before, I think she has a tendency to stick her foot in her mouth). Same for Cain or Palin, although with small reservations and not quite as much enthusiasm. I could probably hold my nose for Santorum or even Ron Paul.

Absolutely would not vote for Romney, even in the general. Pretty close to writing off Perry into the same category, and probably will barring a public recant on his opposition to AZ 1070, or his support for passing the TX Dream Act, or some kind of definitive public statement showing he understands WHY everyone got so mad at him for what he pulled with the TTC, and why trying to erase our borders is treason, or why rolling over and playing dead in international trade negotiations is economic suicide. Just anything in general that would lead any rational person to think he’d change the trajectory we’re on by more than just a degree or two.
